Good solution for hanging curtains outdoors, just make sure you have proper tools for steel cable cutting. I used Harbor Freight cable cutter that i needed to buy for a repair project of a garage door opener. Without this cutter shortening these cables to a required length would have been much more difficult as they frey very easily and then don't fit into small openings of the provided hardware.

The best thing about this product was that you can "fold" the arms down so the wire hangs very close to the wall. I did not want to have a 1-2" metal rod sticking out from the wall so people walking by might run into it--and this was ideal. Install took about 10 minutes total with 2 people. I was mostly there for moral support if I'm honest. The wall anchors that were provided were a bit flimsy so we used some we had on-hand and it worked out perfectly! The little gray ones that came in the package didn't seem to butterfly open, but no problem, another set from a different project were used instead.

It was a little wonky to get hung but after some trial and error it turned out nice. Missing instructions so I just guessed and it worked. It gives an industrial/modern vibe and is much more minimalist than a clunky curtain rod.

Our 6 year old is in art school and always displaying his art throughout the house, this was a great find and we love the ability to hang the "newest thing" without damaging the walls. It really is 5 meters, which we didn't expect to be so crazy long on our walls but it gives you options to customize the length, you'll just need to cut it to size if you don't want so much. The kit comes with everything you'll need to hang and install at the 5 m length, if you want less you'll need a strong wire cutter or tool to cut to size 😀

The screws are in such poor quality so they can only handle 5-6 turns with the hex key before they are destroyed. (Normal pressure by hand, i did not use a drill or other screw drivers) The screws had to be removed with pliers and are not usable again. The curtain clips are silver, not black as in picture, so the extra black clips I bought had to be sent back.

We have a odd situation where my window frames are butt up against a soffet in the home. That meant using standard hangar hardware would look weird and enter this solution to get curtains on these windows (which are at the front of the home btw). This does provide a perfect solution for us .. and luckily.. have a pretty extensive tool collection as a DIYer... (more than the avg bear IMO). That being said ... the metal cables need to be cut CLEAN. Otherwise good luck threading frayed steel cable through the little hole to lock and mount. I happen to have a steel cable cutter (used to cut Bicycle brake cables) to complete my install and was quick and easy... But I cant imaging every household having this type of tool as its very ... Niche... Tin snips... WILL NOT WORK... I tried and it frays miserably... But does look nice when finally installed. TLDR - Not super easy to install if you dont have the right tools.
