Good solution for hanging curtains outdoors, just make sure you have proper tools for steel cable cutting. I used Harbor Freight cable cutter that i needed to buy for a repair project of a garage door opener. Without this cutter shortening these cables to a required length would have been much more difficult as they frey very easily and then don't fit into small openings of the provided hardware.

The best thing about this product was that you can "fold" the arms down so the wire hangs very close to the wall. I did not want to have a 1-2" metal rod sticking out from the wall so people walking by might run into it--and this was ideal. Install took about 10 minutes total with 2 people. I was mostly there for moral support if I'm honest. The wall anchors that were provided were a bit flimsy so we used some we had on-hand and it worked out perfectly! The little gray ones that came in the package didn't seem to butterfly open, but no problem, another set from a different project were used instead.

No instruction... Thank goodness for YouTube. Screws was dull going into the wall and the top of the screw it was flat. There was no Philip or even a flat head to help screw the screw into the wall...it was smooth. I had 2 males, and 3 days to screw these pieces into a wood beam. Another 2 days …1 to finish the job and the next day to rest after wresting with trying to put it together. You will need almost a week to put this together. PLEASE... I AM ALSO WARNING YOU… If you buy this product, do EVERYTHING on a VERY EMPTY FLOOR. You have to loosen some screws, and they are so very tiny. If we did not do this on the floor, the whole thing would have been in the trash. But if I had to do it again.... I would not have bought it. More headaches before and after the project was done.

Our 6 year old is in art school and always displaying his art throughout the house, this was a great find and we love the ability to hang the "newest thing" without damaging the walls. It really is 5 meters, which we didn't expect to be so crazy long on our walls but it gives you options to customize the length, you'll just need to cut it to size if you don't want so much. The kit comes with everything you'll need to hang and install at the 5 m length, if you want less you'll need a strong wire cutter or tool to cut to size 😀
