I’m using this rod with one linen-blend curtain panel and it looks beautiful in my space. The finish is clean and modern, and the rod feels well made for the price. Installation was straightforward. I didn’t use the included brackets because I installed the rod with Kwik Hang brackets instead, but the brackets that come with the set seemed sturdy and properly made for the rod. For reference, the panel shown is 84” long and not feather-light, and the rod supports it without issue. This is a slimmer-profile rod, which works well for light to medium weight curtains, and I’d expect it could also support two light-to-medium panels depending on fabric and width. If you’re planning to hang very thick blackout curtains or multiple heavy layers, you may prefer a larger diameter rod. My only wish is that it came in brushed nickel, because I’d purchase another set if that finish were available.

When I unboxed this, it confused me because it's not a true adjustable (sliding) rod. It comes in segments and each piece screws together so if you're needing to adjust it to a precise measurement, you can't. It limits you to either adding a full piece or leaving it off. Each piece is roughly 12 to 15". I didn't notice this when I ordered it but think it's kind off cool. Because of this, the overall sturdiness of the rod is unmatched. It's strong and we didn't have to use a center support. Just keep in mind that if you're needing to add one or two inches, you can't. You're married to adding one full piece. I strongly suggest looking at the measurement breakdown so you're safe knowing it is close to the size you're needing.

You get what you pay for.... cheap looking and flimsy. In order to keep the rods connected I had use black electrical tape. Luckily, the curtains hide it and the blends with black rod. Serves it purpose.

I wanted a curtain rod that would work with large utility Command Hooks and hold up to the weight of the pocket rod blackout curtains over an 84”inch area. I did not use the brackets that came with the curtain rods so I cannot review those but I can state the curtain rods itself was easy to put together. It doesn’t feel flimsy being 7/8” of an inch. I bought white to match my decor and the curtain rod looks nice. I feel this particular brand is a good value for the money. I would purchase it again in the future.
