These are strong and functional. I feel there is a huge flaw with the design, I guess if it says in the description I missed it? There are two lengths to choose from as it comes. Either the shorter way with both ends together or you can insert the additional center rod to make it longer. Way longer. No adjusting to desired length by expansion. Thankful these worked for my smaller windows but dang what if I needed to install the brackets a tad farther away? Would have had to return these. I am however going to purchase a few more for the rest of the small windows in my home because they did work for us but overall I would of liked to have a choice on how long I wanted it within it’s specs and it be adjustable and not just two options.

This rod was 5” too long hanging off the ends of the window frame. I ended up pulling the end knob off and using a hack saw to better fit the width and put end knob back on. Otherwise quality seems ok.

I needed 1 more to complete my redecorating of my home. The other 7 I bought from Walmart and couldn’t understand why those came with silver screws when rod was black.. never got an answer but when I received the 1 rod from Amazon it came with black screws! Highly recommend!
