This is a very versatile weight bench in my opinion! Assembly was a little challenging, but I am pretty mechanically inclined so I figured it out with some time and patience. The unit is stable and secure and will definitely support more weight than I will personally need. I really like that the bench is capable of various inclines, and I like that I can do leg curls at the base end. I also like that the weights can be stored at the bar end. In addition, I like that there is quite a bit of adjustment for bar height. Overall, it has been a great addition to my exercise room, so it earns the top rating from me!

My husband and teenage son put this together and they said the instructions were horrible and the quality was not great. It does not feel super sturdy and seems a lot smaller than other weight benches. My son is 6’1” and he can barely fit on this when he is laying flat. One of the bars near the foot part easily bent. It is the perfect size for my 12 year old so he will probably use it, especially bc there won’t be a lot of weight that he will be benching. Due to its quality, I don’t really trust it and am not very comfortable with my kids using it.

The bench itself is an affordable option for those who really aren't the gym-rat type and like to do moderate exercise. Think the type of person who gets a piece of equipment that has about a 20% chance of becoming a clothes rack by year's end. The finish is acceptable and the pieces were all there and were able to be assembled with not a lot of struggling. That said the instructions consist of a few diagrams that you're going to need a magnifying glass to read if you're over 40. Just a series diagrams, no step-by-step sequential instructions. So you're kind of on your own comparing the drawings to the pieces and then getting it to come together into a complete bench. A few tips: The included wrench things will slip and pinch and you're going to be a lot better off using a ratchet. Aside from a couple odd larger sizes get a 13mm, 14mm and 10mm socket. Those will cover 90% of the bolts. There are some edges on it that will cut you if you hit them wrong. Keep the legs very loose to line up the angled supports. Once you have all the bolts started up then you can snug them down. The barbell support arm pictures are a head scratcher. Determine the height you want them at first then pin them into place. The plate holders on the back work well and you can stack like 3 plates on each side. The foam sleeves to protect your legs and ankles are adequate, but not more. If you're going to exercise regularly odds are you'll be replacing them. Also keep an eye on the bolt that goes through where the leg attachment swivels - there will be unprotected threads right next to your thigh and there's definitely a cut hazard there. May want to put some vinyl tape or cap over it to prevent an unwelcome injury. So yeah, for casual light duty exercise this should do you fine and leave you with some weekend beer money. If you're going to do more hardcore workouts it would be worth spending more for a more durable and better designed bench.

The foldability option is great, but quality was lost in the process that didn't need to be. Assembly instructions are terrible. If you have long arms, the width may feel narrow. Luckily it's fine for me, but it does affect my teenage so negatively. Good for a limited space gym, but the price is a bit high for the quality. 3 Stars

My guys have had the same bench for so long...it belonged to my husband when he was younger. It definitely was time for an upgrade. This bench is great. Was easy to assemble. Easy to set up. Doesn't take up to much extra space. Very sturdy! The material is great! Looks great. Very sleek. Price was phenomenal!

This adjustable bench seemed like a perfect space-saving option for my home gym. It folds up nicely, and the weight capacity is high enough for my current needs. But after some time of using it, I'm finding myself a little frustrated. First off, the assembly instructions were lacking. The diagrams weren't super clear, and it took some trial and error to get everything put together. Secondly, the materials feel a bit on the light side. I'm worried about how well it will hold up over time with regular use. The biggest issue for me, though, is the barbell holder. It's just a tad too narrow. When I try to bench press in the full 180-degree position, it feels cramped and uncomfortable. It's a workable solution, but not ideal. Overall, this bench is alright. It folds up for easy storage, and it can handle a decent amount of weight. But with the flimsy build and the cramped bar holder, I'm not sure I'd recommend it to someone serious about strength training.
