Description

Lightweight, compact, and low-profile, the Vantage II by Streamlight easily attaches above or below full-brim fire helmets and slotted industrial hard hats. The Vantage II features two light modes, High, with 350 lumens, and 3500 candelas with a beam that shines to 118 meters and runs 2.25 hours. The low mode provides 135 lumens, and 1700 candelas with a beam that shines up to 80 meters with an extended run time of 5 hours. There is a large easy access On- Off switch located on the rear of the Vantage II. The ultra-bright blue IED safety taillight is visible in heavy smoke, and it also can be configured to flash for industrial and fire applications.

Awesome light once I was able to get it onto my helmet. I have a traditional style helmet and wanted to mount it below the brim. The way the clamp is, you cant use the allen wrench that came with the package unless I put it way back on the helmet. It's further back than I wanted but it still works. I plan to use a shorter allen wrench later to readjust the position. But the light is bright, of course in a structure fire your not going to be able to see even with a light but my main focus was while crawling or close to the floor seeing what was in front of me and I was able to do that long as I stayed low. Low profile light didnt get tangled up in everything and has worked flawlessly for a couple weeks now. ... show more
