Had my Stanley ash vacuum for almost a year at the time of this review. I like it and it makes cleaning our wood burning stove much easier. Only complaint that I have is that the hose broke at the connection to the can. Thankfully duct tape works effectively still. Will update review if any issues arise. I've had a pellet stove for years. It has always been a messy hassle to clean it. I used a brush and small shovel and tossed the ash into the outside trashcan. It was a dusty chore that I put off as long as possible. I splurged and got this and oh my, it is so much easier to keep the stove clean! This doesn't provide strong suction; just enough to get all of the ash. I was worried that it would spew the fine ash everywhere but it didn't. My dogs are afraid of my normal vacuum but they didn't budge from their comfy bed when I used this, which was a surprise because it does make a high-pitched sound that I found unpleasant but it didn't bother them. It was super easy to assemble. Strong powerful suction ash vacuum. It was great to find out it has a hepa filter and a secondary filter that keeps the ash inside the canister.
