I was in the market for solid orange lights -- and the box "says" orange" -- so I am happy with them. However, the picture on the box lead me to believe they were going to be more like "candy corn" colored lights, which I have had in the past. I ordered 3 colors purple green and yellow for a Mardi Gras decoration . The green and yellow lights are perfect. The purple lights which came labeled as purple do not have any purple color at all, they are a reddish pink. If you need purple lights do not buy them.
