These wedges work well for my type of squats. They are stable and do not slip. You can adjust the height by removing or adding wedges, they come in three pieces. As other reviewers have mentioned, they do smell strongly of rubber tire when you first remove them from the package. I let them sit out overnight and the smell went away. These are a nice, inexpensive alternative to using weight plates or pieces of wood to raise your heels up.

This is a simple solution to people like me who like to do deep back squats but cannot avoid the dreaded "butt wink" at the bottom of a deep squat. I thought my squat form was better than it actually was until I did a video of my squats from the side and there it was, the butt wink at the bottom. I did lots of stretching and mobility work to try to eliminate the problem, but until I added these wedges, the wink remained. I am not a powerlifter, so I did not invest in squat shoes, which accomplish the same thing. Unlike squat shoes, however, the use of these wedges offers three height options by simply adding or removing one of the interlocking wedges. They are very stabile and do not slip at all. An inexpensive and simple solution to my deep squat issue.

Ok, these absolutely smell like they're made from old recycled tire rubber. They're gonna hang out in garage for a few days. However, they feel really good under my feet and that matters because I don't wear shoes in the house and that's where I'm using these. I'm working on being able to stand up from sitting in the floor without fighting for my life to get up but if you wanted to, I'm sure you could take them to the gym and completely rework your squat game. I don't know if there's an official weight limit but I doubt anybody unwilling to invest in shoes specifically for squats would need them to hold more than what ordinary people would need them to hold. They're nice!

It smells bad like chemical farts, but they are effective and dense. That said, it's 6 stackable wedges. They are nice and dense and work well for weighted squats, calf raises, etc. There is good grip and wedges are usable and stackable.

I'm 63 year old female weighing 122 pounds and these were an inexpensive alternative to some other really expensive equipment. I love that I can transport them to the gym since my gym doesn't have a slant board. They work great and should last a long time.
