Install wasn't terrible, and the car definitely feels more peppy and responsive. Also sounds much better than it used to, giving it a new bassy tone. However, upon some time of usage I noticed the intake tube gets extremely hot very quickly, which defeats most of the purpose of a cold air intake. Luckily you can get your hands on heat-reflective tape for less than $10, which makes an astronomical difference (Without it, I couldn't even touch the tube after a 10min drive) in the temperature. Easy and pretty quick installation and solid fitment. Manual was a little hard to decipher from times but explained tools and measurements required, which helped a lot. Sounds good especially for price, also would sound nice with any sort of intake as well! Noticed a slightly better throttle response in sport mode as well. For the price , this is absolutely worth it ! My car sounds so much better and has a deep growl to it now when shifting in sport mode (2012 is250). Much better throttle response and it looks really nice .

So, as others have said...it adds a really nice sound when getting on the freeway or just punching it đŸ€Ș install was real easy and it added a minimum of 15 miles per gallon, I’m pulling closer to 30 , but I have also babied my car since I bought it. I used a wrap to keep the cooler air cooler, and it fits under the cowling, very big plus. Please disregard the dirt as it’s under construction 😁 I would recommend when installing ..take a hot blow dryer for the rubber seals, smaller one, to make fit better... Overall very happy with purchase UPDATE, I typically got 100 miles out of every quarter tank....this gave me 130 miles per quarter tank without AC, with AC I'm getting about 115 ... show more

I have the 2.5 - I love the way it looks. Has a nice little sound coming from the engine now, you get to hear the difference when you take off a light or stop sign. No engine lights or anything.

    • Perfect Fit Bad Quality Contol
To start off the product fits as it sais the “heat shield” is what you expect for the price and is a very ideal alternative. On the other hand quality control is something to lookout for. I purchased it and re installed my mass airflow sensor down and thought nothing of the sort.. then it was broken within a month and then bought a second one again seal broke bought new one broke again within a month. The opening for the maf sensor was bored out incorrectly and is half to nicely fit the sensor and the other half flat and would squish the sensor causing two breaks. I will say although my fault for not finding the problem sooner it just wasn’t a problem i was expecting to have on the 180 dollar intake but other than that the sound is absolutely unmatched and truly wish it could’ve worked out better but i had to go back to oem. ... show more
