This was for a 2007 300c SRT8 with the 6.1l engine. K&N sent a dyno sheet that shows that a 6.1 hemi will make 31 more horse power compared to stock... objectively I have no way to verify the claimed horsepower improvement, but subjectively it seems to have more ponies under the hood... I do not know if it does or does not...but...dang that 6.1 has a heck of a throaty roar to it now. It sounds like it is going to suck the hood right into the engine...and honestly that was the main reason I bought it... for the increased throaty sound... and any horse power increase is just icing on the cake. Installation was easy... K&N videos were a great help and the only issues was getting the twist bracket installed correctly which was not a big issue. Maybe...I should install a bigger cam... bigger injectors...a tune... and a better exhaust. Yes, I know I am too old for this kind of non-sense...but even 65 year olds need hobbies. Now I need to finish my 1970 Nova with a blown 700 horsepower 406 engine. ... show more

Added a lot of OOMF to the car.. sounds amazing, more air flow, it feels like better throttle response feels like it has a bit better gas mileage and performs great, definitely worth the money and all parts were included no missing parts.

This is a must if you have a Dodge Charger with a Hemi. Before this installation I had a Flow master exhaust put on which gave it a more aggressive sound and look which I recommend the price is good and it looks great. The exhaust seemed to give it a little more horsepower. It wasn't until I added this cold air intake that it really made a difference. I choose the cold air intake from K&N with the poly urethane tube. K&N offers a metal tube but claims the poly urethane tube is a horsepower gain of 21.09 HP gain and the metal tube an 11.66 HP gain. The reason for the difference between the poly urethane tube and metal is the poly urethane will stay cooler than the metal tube keeping the air cooler. That is what I was told by a performance shop when I started shopping for a cold air intake. The K&N looks great, and I recommend it over the Mopar Cold Air intake it's cheaper and in my opinion looks better. My engine also seems to not have to work as hard, and seems to be more responsive than before when I press on the accelerator. It's also about a $100.00 cheaper. The instructions you get from K&N can be confusing. I recommend going to youtube.com and typing in K&N installation for K&N cold air intake. The video I watched was for a V6, but it was very helpful. I am rating this product as a five star due to price, look after installation, and the performance from the cold air intake. Received this item in early April but was waiting for some other parts to arrive so they could be painted.The box was damaged or had been opened and tape back together.On may 9 when I started to install found out the parts bag was the wrong one,heatsheild had no holes to mount filter base,some parts weren't even on the parts list.Now I'm stuck with it because it's past the return date,and I painted the heatsheild to match the car. ... show more

So far so good. Took me (novice) almost 3hrs. I needed to find a YouTube video. There are instructions but they are a little vague. Came with everything ya need, just need the right tools. The mounting to the frame was a little frustrating challenge, but not too bad. The parts feel like quality and fit perfectly on my 14 Charger RT. Sounds fantastic, really made my Paradox Mufflers/deleted resonators growl. Pick up seems quicker. Hope to see some better MPGS. Don't close the trunk with the battery disconnected. ... show more

Fit well on my 2020 300s 5.7 v8. They give you two adapter plug extensions for the IAT sensor. Only one will work with your car. But other than that it’s a nice set up. Worth the money. Had a spectre intake on previously. The quality improvement is much better. And it looks pretty good too
