Fit exactly like it should. Installed pretty quickly. Makes it look much better under the hood. Had to get a small hose clamp for one of the hoses. But easy fix. Sounds more aggressive. Seems to have a better air flow.

This cold air intake works really well. Great engine sound, good torque, and horsepower increase and a noticeable increase in the throttle response and a slight increase in fuel milage. Overall, one of the best mods for the money. My only gripe would be the fit. It does not fit perfectly.

So overall I am happy, gives the car a nice little sound of air rushing in when you get on it…. One little annoyance…. The plastic screw that connects the rubber return hose didn’t fit on my air intake and I stripped the plastic threading… K&N sent a replacement screw…. While waiting I went to Home Depot and bought a brass one from the plumbing/landscaping section and a small hose clamp… 7 bucks and it worked better ... show more

I purchased the new nextgen option for my Challenger R/T. I feel a bit of a stronger pull at peak RPMs. Throttle response is a little more touchy. You can hear the winding sound if you have the windows down but other than that mostly i can't really hear a significant difference. but i was just looking for better airflow and a minor power bump. Obviously a tune and some long tube headers would make this more worth the money. One problem in my installation: the hose clamp that came with the kit for the filter going into the airbox broke under little force. I had to pick up another one from my local part store. otherwise- install is a piece of cake. ... show more
