I check my dissolved solids in a cup before filter installment. It was 327ppm and after installing the filter, it was 319ppm. I ordered another filter and it came quickly, the customer service is great. I checked out again went from 327ppm to 272ppm. It dropped 55ppm. Do not know at this point which dissolved solid it is taking out. The pressure is a bit low though. Again great customer service. If you were in a state like Washington, Massachusetts or Tennessee that would be enough to make it a great shower system. ... show more

Installation took about 5 minutes. I really like the large shower head. I have low water pressure, so I opted to switch to the 2.5 gallon regulator. I wouldn't say it improved my water pressure, but it didn't make it worse. I've noticed a nice improvement in my skin since using the product. I've very pleased with the purchase. A lot more better than previous shower head and very easy to install. Pro: The shower head is a lot more gentle to my hair & skin. The filter leave my hair nice & soft for hours at work. I love this shower head!! I’m in broward county and the water is disgusting, my hair has been very dry and brittle and I would have itchy dry skin. I never really attributed this to the water quality but figured it couldn’t hurt to get this filtered shower head. This has CHANGED MY LIFE - my hair looks so healthy and SHINY (as a blonde, my hair typically looks OK from the bleach, but this has elevated how great my hair looks - it has always been kinda dull no matter how nice of conditioner I use). I no longer get random rashes on my skin from dryness, I feel as if my skin has significantly improved. A month before this I had my allergist do a patch test to check for skincare ingredients I may be allergic to, but it came back with nothing :/ I can say that since having this shower head I haven’t had any dermatitis show up!
