I have 2 dogs that shed like it's their job. When the sunlight hits my floors it's like every strand of hair unites in harmony to shine in all their glory. It drives me absolutely nuts. The robot vacuums are constantly getting caught on something or dead somewhere so I needed something I could SEE was working. I tried the traditional broom as well and it just sent the hairs flying in the air. After much research (i.e reading Amazon reviews) I chose this one. For the price it's awesome. It has great suction and it gets all the tiny hairs. I like that you can take it apart and use just the tube to get hard to reach areas. Pros: powerful, versatile, long cord, lightweight. I also like that it has a docking station that keep it's low to the ground and doesn't topple over easily. Cons: the pole that connects to the actual vacuum falls out on the regular. See last pic for proof. Very frustrating but not enough to send it back. Also, there's nowhere to really store the cord when not in use. I just roll it up and place it around the machine but seems like they could have put something on the side to keep it tight and neat.

This vacuum works well and I love how long the cord is. However, the plastic attachments are cheap feeling and don't properly click or snap in, rather they have to be pushed together tightly in order to get the pieces to hold. This is basically a hand vac that has cheap plastic attachments to make it a "stick" vacuum. I gave four stars because it works pretty well and I love the long cord, I just don't feel it was worth the price I paid. I wish I would had just bought an actual corded stick vacuum that didn't need so many attachments to function. Going to keep it because I don't feel like cleaning it out. (: Edit to add* Emptying the dust collector is troublesome. You have to go through a couple filters to empty. There isn't a one click button release which would had been nice. Also, while I love the length of the cord, cord storage is a pain.
