After seeing this head unit with no reviews, I took a chance by buying it. However, it turned out to be a very good head unit. The built-in Android Auto worked perfectly, but I decided to download the Head Unit Reloaded app to be able to adjust certain settings and even use wireless Android Auto which did not come with the unit. The air conditioning controls work perfectly and a non intrusive screen comes up when adjusting settings using the physical buttons. The software on the head unit is great as well. Everything is fluid and quick thanks to the updated Android 10 software and octa core CPU. If you choose to install a custom backup camera (I have the base model so my car did not come with one) it will work with this unit as long as it has a yellow video cable. When putting the car into reverse, the head unit will lower the volume and the camera will automatically pop up. It even has lines that move as you turn the steering wheel if you connect the OBD 2 port. For a while, I was deterred from buying one of these Chinese head units because of videos I had seen on YouTube about similar ones and reading comments about sound quality, software, compatibility, etc. After using this unit for about a week, it is safe to say that none of these issues are present. From YouTube, I had seen similar units with installed that had ugly software and bad sound quality. The software on this unit is different from the others because there is no boot time, other than when you first install it. After that, every time you turn on the car, within 3 seconds the screen is fully functional and whatever app you had it on is opened again. Also, the software does not look like this is just an Android tablet put into a car. It looks like it was made for a car. Moving on to sound quality, this head unit does not disappoint. I am typically a person who really pays attention to the quality of the speakers when listening to music, and I did this as well before I installed the unit. In my car, I do not have the Mark Levinson, but the speakers always sounded great. After installing the unit, the sound quality remains exactly the same as with the stock stereo. The only difference is that now, the volume knob on the part with the CD changer now controls how much power is delivered to the speakers, and the steering wheel controls and head unit volume slider both control the volume. For example, if I turn down the "power" knob but turn up the volume from the head unit, the speakers will sound terrible. But if I turn up the "power" knob, the speakers will sound better and be able to get louder. Once I found the sweet spot, I left the "power" knob alone and now only use the head unit/steering wheel to control volume. Also, I recommend setting your preferred equalizer settings using the stock stereo before putting this one in because, while there is an equalizer in this head unit, it does not work very well and I did not end up using it because the settings I had already set from the stock stereo remained. The head unit comes with 3 USB connections, 1 separate from the other two that are connected to the same port on the back of the head unit. I personally used the 3rd one for my dash cam and tucked the wire behind the head unit. The other two I ran under the unit and into the ash tray (which is removable) because there was a hole in the side of it that left a convenient way to run the wire. Most car chargers do not do a very good job at charging my phone, but this one charged it pretty well. Overall a great head unit and I am glad I bought it. Do not watch any YouTube videos about Android head units for IS250s and 350s because I have yet to find a video of this exact model that has the better software.

The unit fits well(not perfect) and has a lot of great functionality. Sound quality is great, screen looks good, has quality picture, and touch screen response time is great. Unfortunately the oem backup camera does not work. I have worked with technical support team for a couple weeks, sending pictures to them, checking different items and then they stated "sorry I messed something up with this, so your connection is right the backup camera was control by the decoder box, , could you please check all cables port pins in good condition or not ?" I checked and responded that all cables, pins, and connections are good. They have now stopped responding. I love the unit but did purchase with the expectation of keeping my reverse camera. If you don't care about your backup camera, this unit is Fantastic otherwise.

I ordered this unit to replace the non-nav factory radio in my 2008 IS250. When it arrived I got to work installing it and discovered that they had forgotten to put the CANBUS interface in the box. I reached out to customer support and Cheney apologized for the oversight and shipped a CANBUS box to me. Once it arrived, installation was fairly straight-forward. (In all fairness, I'm an ASE Certified Master Automotive Technician. I can see where a layman may be overwhelmed by the number of connections that have to be made.) Upon installation everything just worked. I fiddled with the settings here and there but everything worked as intended without any of that. I subtracted 1 star simply because there are a few minor quirks that prevent this from being a perfect product: 1. As mentioned by other reviews, the screen does not line up quite right with the center air vents. Not a huge deal, doesn't look terrible, but not quite good enough for 5 star material. 2. Some of the apps are redundant or show options that aren't right for the vehicle. For example, there is a radio app that works perfectly but then there's a second radio app that doesn't work at all. I'm not sure if the 2nd app is for a different model vehicle or a different market. Also, on the A/C app there are buttons that don't do anything (on my vehicle) but probably do on other models. It would be super cool if they could maybe tailor the app suite based on year/make/model. As with #1, none of this is a deal breaker but is enough to knock it down from 5 stars to 4. All that having been said, this product has managed to give the interior of my 2008 a much more modern feel and it's great having navigation and wireless Android Auto. Definitely worth the money, would recommend!

I was having issues with stereo music intermittently cutting out and a/c controls not working on a 2007 Lexus IS250. The stereo bezel was also scratched and missing the mounting screws . I reached out to Cheney Chen which is their customer service rep. The first couple emails he responded and told me he would send me a new bezel and screws those never came. But afterwards i did not get anymore replies from him even after sending him videos of the stereo having issues. I give the Stereo 5stars because i managed to figure out the issue and its a great stereo sounds really good. But the customer service is not so great.

So, I ordered this unit and it just arrived yesterday. I'm a DIY type of dude so I was trying to install it myself into my car. On YouTube, I saw many different videos installing the unit before I chose to myself. Mostly all of them that I saw there was some sort of metal piece on the unit itself and a metal bracket to go along with it. When I opened my package, I was greeted with some plastic brackets that DID NOT even screw into the head unit itself. Now, I am currently trying to get in contact with the manufacturer to get some replacement brackets. To me this is just ridiculous due to the fact that we are spending over $400 for something that potentially could or could not work, or in my case come with the wrong parts. I really wanted to write a good review for this product and boost the rating but that is not seeming possible at the moment. Maybe when I finally get it installed, I will have a change of heart about my rating. Will update soon. Edit: I was able to get it installed in my car and overall it works very well I can’t lie. But, I would say they need to do a better job with instructions and the manual itself that it comes with. Will definitely be using this for a while doesn’t fit perfectly but fits good enough (Update to 3 stars)

I have a Lexus IS 350 2006 model. I installed this unit and it worked great and as intended. I took this unit to one of the car stereo shops and they were able to install it pretty easily. I would suggest that if you have any questions, you should reach out to the seller support. They not only helped me check the compatibility while deciding to buy on amazon but also helped me after installing the unit. One of the features did not work because it needed a firmware update, but the support team was very prompt in sending and guiding me in installing the firmware into the unit. After that it worked flawlessly. I definitely recommend this product . Make sure you check the compatibility first by sending them your car pics and talk to the support team if you have any questions. That's what I did. Cheers

There are plugs that don't go anywhere and zero instructions. I tried really hard and others have had success- I'd love to know how. It's advertised as plug and play but there are Teo vital plugs that go nowhere. Rt/xt and ac power. Probably a simple solution, if they provided any instructions whatsoever it would be beneficial to them. But I can't get all functions working. Can't find any professional installers due to the brand. They aren't willing. It's not exactly cheap either. It seems high quality and I think I would really love it, but I can't get all functions to work. Ac won't power on. Maybe Mines defective. Again had there been instructions I could troubleshoot it but there aren't. Not willing to cut up my lexus just for the sake of messing around with a Chinese head unit

Unit is actually pretty nice once you get it to work properly! I installed this in a 2006 IS350 without Nav. I did have 14 speakers and it still sounds great!! Initially, I took it to a shop to have them install it because when it arrived I was a little intimidated by the amount of wire harnesses it comes with (you have to remember this is a universal fit system and you will NOT use all the plugs included with the unit)! I did a bunch of reviews and watched all the YouTube vids that are out on the unit so I felt prepared ( HIGHLY a recommend this). The shop I took it to initially had a problem hooking up my aftermarket reverse camera. After they figured that out they still could not get the A/C controls to pop up. We requested a wiring diagram because the unit DOES NOT COME WITH INSTRUCTIONS OR A WIRE DIAGRAM, but that never came. They sent some photos which were somewhat helpful, but the shop still insisted they needed wiring diagrams!! I contacted Cheney via email and he promptly answered questions. However, being here in California there was a time delay for responses. After taking my car back and forth to the stereo shop I decided to try and figure out the wiring issue by myself. Cheney was a tremendous help. He made several suggestions that I tried. Finally, I noticed a small wire plug (that had a green and a purple wire connected). This plug is NOT labeled TX/RX, but this IS the plug I needed to connect!! The A/C control FINALLY pops up. Only issue I have now is trying to figure out how the defrost is supposed to work! Great unit that does everything, but it might take a little back and forth communicating with Cheney to get it to work for your application!!!
