Description

Keep your pool warm and your wallet unscathed by lowering your electricity bills this season with the 6-pack of Solar Sun Rings Swimming Pool Spa Heater Circular Solar Covers. Solar sun rings are much easier to set up and take down than regular pool covers and save you money in the process. The solar cover works by using sunlight to heat the pool throughout the day while the thermal blanket effect helps the water retain heat during the night. The cover also reduces the evaporation of water and chemicals, so your pool chemistry stays intact longer. The redesigned inner grid contains added drainage grommets, which allow water to seep through the Solar Sun Rings without sinking. Dirty pool? Simply move the rings around while cleaning your pool instead of going through the hassle of removing them all. For the best performance, clean the rings monthly with a simple solution of water, pine cleaner, and vinegar. One ring per 50 square feet of water is recommended to fully heat your pool. Enjoy your pool without worry with the 6-pack of Solar Sun Rings Swimming Pool Spa Heater Circular Solar Covers.

  • They work...
Size: 1 Pack
Ok, so let me tell you about these rings...I was skeptical, however, my neighbor had them in her inground pool and she said they work. So I tried them, I needed 5 based on the size of my pool. It takes a few days to rise dramatically, however the temperature does rise. You must have sunshine for solar anything, and this has not been a sunny summer thus far in the Midwest. You must NOT overinflate, read the instructions, that is key. The best thing about this system is that I can handle the solar rings without killing myself over the giant solar cover AND it doesn’t wreck havoc on my pool chemistry. Less chemicals are needed each week because the pool can breathe. No algae, no drama, and I can place and remove these rings very easily on my own. The seller was awesome as one of them had a defect, they immediately shipped another one with no drama. Good experience all around, I recommend them. ... show more

  • Easy to inflate and use!
Size: 1 Pack
We added more, we have 9 of them and they have magnets on them so you can attach them. We have noticed the heater not having to run as often due to the Florida sunshine hitting the solar rings. I love how they look in the pool and easily can be removed and placed back in when done. I have had to re-inflate them periodically, but that’s easy! No more big roller on the pool deck nor struggling with a long solar cover! I did have to return one due to a leak and the company was more than willing to help me. Very communicative, professional and helpful! ... show more

  • Works great!
Size: 1 Pack
Works great, the more coverage you have the better it will work. My pool is about 60% covered by 7 rings. I live in Austin Tx and we put these in when the average temperature range was 60-80 and found it helped keep the pool around 5 degrees warmer. Once it warmed up to 70-90 degree temperature range we found it really reduced evaporation and improved temperature in the morning. In a normal Texas late spring day where it is a high of 90 and a low of 70 at night, the pool temp is usually 82-86 in the morning and 88-90 in the afternoon. Without rings, the same temp ranges would be about 4 degrees lower. My pool is 4ft to 7ft deep and approx 15x25 ft. Our only problem at first was blowing them up the right way. The middle part really only needs 2 small breaths. ... show more

  • Only got half of what I ordered
Size: 1 Pack
These work wonderfully. Product as described. The problem is that I ordered 12, got 6. Now I am out $210+tax and haven’t had a reply from the company about the situation. I am trying to be patient because of covid-19 and will gladly give a better review if my order is corrected. $210 is a lot of money to be screwed out of, and I have never been burned this badly buying from Amazon in all the years I have been a customer. I have ordered several times a week for well over a decade, and this one stings. The product is great, but One might want to get them through the regular local pool store and not risk losing so much money. Product deserves 5 stars. Customer service gets 0. ... show more

  • Did not change the pool temperature!
Size: 1 Pack
I bought 17 rings to fill my entire pool. I live in Arizona - so lots of sunshine. I saw no change in pool temperature. Disappointed.

  • Great for small or shallow areas!
Size: 1 Pack
We just finished building our oversized L shape free form pool about 3 weeks ago and needed something smaller to help warm the shallow 18 inch deep Baja Shelf....these solar rings work well! I’m probably going to get one more to help cover the area. The magnets click together and they definitely help keep the rings from being blown away....we gets winds up to 25 mph weekly! The only thing I’ve noticed in the few weeks that I have been using the rings is that the magnets are showing signs of corrosion even though they’re encased in the same material that the rings are made out of. I don’t know if they would be able to warm depths of 4-6ft because we have a traditional blue solar cover for the main area of our pool. Also, unfortunately, based on the price I’d go broke trying to buy enough rings to cover my surface areas so the larger cover was more cost effective. But, these are good for small odd shaped areas! ... show more

  • Amazing...keeps the pool heated!
Size: 1 Pack
We have a heated pool but the temperature drops to 40-50 degrees at night. We heated the pool to 80 degrees, used our pool for the day, put in the Sun Rings and it turned off our heater. It has kept the temperature between 76-80 degrees for days now! I was reluctant to spend the initial cost for the Sun Rings but so glad I did as in the end I will save money and enjoy my pool. Happy. ;c) ... show more

  • 2 puffs. Avg breath? Do this, if that, (sigh)
Size: 1 Pack
Instructions on proper inflation is clumsy / unclear. ( ie eg 2 puffs. Avg breath? Do this, if that, sigh). Product needs to consider a builtin PRV (Pressure relief valve) so to obtain the right inflation (and located opposite of the input valve - so as to expand the stuck-together, laminate construct) and achieve better inflation results (less this hyperventilating, 2 avg. puffs, squish and move around the air to separate areas, etc. method - just let me put air in using a pump and when it "burbs" on the opposite side - I'm good to go. It'd be worth the .25 cent more adder. The improvement might even provide opportunity for adding an optional specialized pump to aide in this. ... show more
