Well I had this for few days now n it’s doesn’t work this the 2 one I buy n it’s not good for this ring 2 (gen) they need to explain it really good system won’t charge n also it said hardwired instead of solar panel battery wont charge !! Amazon explain to consumer the real deal n why it doesn’t work instead of us consumers expending $$$ in product that will not work ? Even the money is refunded

Does not charge the Ring 2+. It is advertised as able to work with my model, but not charging. Please Amazon, you used to do a much better job of having quality products, this is junk.

In the sunny state of Florida I expected this would be an amazing solution! Instead, I'll say it does okay. It only actively charges our doorbell if the sun is shrining right on it. I installed this thinking I would never have to worry about charging my ring doorbell again. Unfortunately, that's not quite the case. I added this panel to the ring doorbell when it was at about 50% last weekend. We've had a lot of rainy days lately so it hasn't been the best for use of solar charges. But these have seen enough to maintain the battery (currently near 50%). So don't get this solar panel thinking that you'll be able to charge it up from 0%. Also, it's too bad that the wire running from the panel to my doorbell isn't a little bit longer. Oveall, it's a good purchase and you won't regret it. I already look forward to not having to pull it off of the wall in order to charge it once every 5 or 6 weeks..

installed this on my ring 3 and I haven't charged the battery since. was easy to install and wire. A couple of rainstorms have come through and so far it seems pretty durable.
