Absolute Perfection. One very minor hiccup. Promised second day delivery, but took over a week. Not a big deal for us as our old bell worked fine. It used the built in radio in the kitchen which is coming out for remodeling. We simply wanted to go with fresh replacement. The outdoor unit has a small "transparent strip"isolating the battery that must be removed. I finally found it pushed down out of sight. Does everything promised! Surprisingly efficient and easy to use as well as easy to install. Great price for an item that is great to have for remotely opening and closing garage doors. This is a 2023 model that I received, as Amazon offered at a great discount I supposed to allow for newer stock. Good door bell, but the double sided adhesive tape is useless. The sticky part is on the part that peels off and not on the pad. I am not sure how the company goofed with this.

I deliberately waited to post a review until after I'd had this for a while so that I could really test it out. This doorbell is AWESOME. I have metal siding on my house, and I've had NO problems with it working properly. I have the button on the front door and the chime plugged in my kitchen (which is pretty much in the center of my house), and it works just fine. Also, if you live somewhere with brutally cold winters (as I do!), you should have no problems with battery life or reception. I'd purchased a cheaper doorbell before that worked OK in the summer (but the range was limited; I had to plug the receiver in the living room), but the batteries would die within a day or two in the winter. This one has worked perfectly, even in the coldest weather. It has three volume settings and a silent mode, and believe you me, it's pretty LOUD at the highest volume; I can hear this doorbell in every room of my house, and part of my basement. Plus, it has a flashing light on it so you can turn the volume off and still know if someone rings the bell; the light is small, mind you, but it still catches the eye. Finally, it has a bunch of different sounds (coocoo clock, door slamming, cats meowing, dogs barking), songs (Ode to Joy - my personal favorite, Fur Elise, Christmas tunes, patriotic tunes), and just general ring tones that you can cycle through and change with the seasons, or whenever you get tired of hearing the same chime over and over.
