Excellent door bell and super easy to install. Simply plugin the receiver, then stick the button next to your front door and you are good to go! The receiver (actual door bell) is very loud and has a ton of different sounds that it can play and can be adjusted to the volume and sound you want. For the price, you just can't get any better for a door bell. I have bought 4-5 now for various houses and have never had any issues.     • Quick to install and lots of music/noises

My doorbell was accidentally destroyed by my son. This one looked like a good, cheap replacement option. Pro: - very easy to install - wide variety of 'ring' possibilities - volume levels well fitting - easy controls - compact Cons: - music has pretty much the same electronic sound - electronic music does get on the nerves (pierces a bit) - didn't expect so many animal sounds The sender is 1 1/2"x3"x1/2" and the ringer is 3"x3"x1 1/2"...slick and compact. The doorbell is super easy to install. The main bell simply plugs into an outlet and stays there. The button (Sender) is a little more work but nothing difficult. It comes with 2 possibilities: a very sticky, double-sided foam tape-pad (which can be cut to size needed) or two little screws. I used a mixture since only one of the screw holes would line up with the earlier drill holes. The sender comes with a button battery, in which the plastic tab needs to be removed. Removing the back of the sender was the most difficult part of this. There is a metal 'key' included, which (according to the directions) is inserted into the slot along the bottom of the back, near the battery, and then, turned. This is nothing more than a way to pry off the back. The back was a bit stubborn (I was afraid to force it too much and break of a tab), but it did need to be popped off and didn't break anything in the process. Getting the sender and the bell to connect with each other is also simple. The steps are clear in the directions, and it works quickly and right away. The music/noises do cover a large variety of possibilities from animal noises to a couple stranger noises to all sorts of music. I was a little disappointed that the instructions didn't carry a list of the tones. Also, the electronic sound of the music isn't almost always the same, but sounds extremely electronic and carries a slight high-pitch that rakes at the nerves if used often. But since our doorbell only rings (seriously) a couple times a month, this isn't a problem. It's worth the price, super easy to install and does it's job. ... show more

Perfect. Simple. Works as described. Many handy applications. We have a big house. I bought 4 and use them to save our vocal chords, nerves and relationships. My Fiancé thought this was genius as now we can “page” our kids from their upstairs rooms instead of yelling for them repeatedly, getting frustrated and then going up there to extricate them each from their bedrooms (we have 4 adolescent kids all together, obstructing parental voices are also TVs, X-box, Guitars, Cello, two dogs and a parrot). Funny thing is they respond better to being “rang” than to us yell-calling (may be because there isn’t any emotional baggage yet associated with the door bell chimes). We’re loving their quick response on first ring. So it really is a great solution for all involved. They don’t have to deal with my frustration (I really prefer they never see me as a witch with hair on fire). Kids get to set their ringtones and volume, change it up as it pleases them, and we’ve instructed them to plug in the unit where it will be visible to them at all times during their activities so that if their headphones are on and they can’t hear the sound, they can see the bright blue blinking light of the unit. We lined up the buttons inside one of our kitchen cabinets - left to right youngest to oldest (will make name labels soon) easy to reach when dinner is ready or I need to call them down to clean up their messes. We’ve gotten “this is brilliant” compliments from other parents who saw us use these in our home. I highly recommend this doorbell as a super affordable solution for conventional door bell use as well as un-conventional use like my adaptation. I also bought a couple with 2 buttons, one button is attached in same cabinet with the rest of the group, second is unattached and available for me to take along in my pocket for when I want to work in the basement, in the yard or the garage and might need some extra help or in case I fall or get hurt some other way and need help (no one knows when’s the next time I hurt myself, I’m talented that way...but I know I’m not loud enough to be heard through layers of walls doors and noise pollution in the house, not especially if I’ve got the wind knocked outta me, I’m adventurous like that with house projects) so the double button ones were for my sake more than anyone else’s, for only a couple bucks difference -why not? I’m going to keep the second button to my older daughters room bell in my car so that I can “ring” her when I pull up to signal that I’ve got groceries to unload from the can and I need her to run out and help me. ... show more

    • Bell works fine. Mounting tape did not.

This was easy to install but don't trust the double sided mounting tape, screw it to the wall. I first mounted it to the vinyl siding with the mounting tape included in the package. Before I stuck it on, I cleaned the area well with alcohol and let it dry. It held for a few weeks until the first night it got below about 40 degrees, then the tape let go. It is screwed on now. The button is about twenty feet from the bell box with a brick wall and steel door in between. It works fine. ... show more

Have had this doorbell since 2022. Absolutely ZERO problems. Very highly recommend!! Simply place the button wherever you want it outside and plug the device inside. Done. It's that easy. You can change the chime and volume. No regrets.

    • An Effective Medic Alert Alternative

After two mini-strokes left my balance occasionally shaky and an outside fall, I went looking for a convenient device that would let me signal my distress to an audible alarm. Most of the available device seemed to of questionable quality and limited range and cost $30-$50+. So I thought of a wireless doorbell. This one cost less than $20 and the transmitter was weatherproof while promising excellent range. It has delivered perfectly on all counts. The range has been tested at over 200' through multiple walls. The transmitter is small with a large button. The unobtrusive receiver plugs directly into a wall outlet and is quite loud. It offers 52(!) ringtone choices, perhaps a bit silly, but whatever. I'll get a neck lanyard, making it perfect for my needs. A five-star solution! ... show more
