Our gate is 250 ft from the house and it works great! Just ensure you have a clean line between them, our home in Panama is built of concrete blocks so finding a plug the laser beam could hit was problematic but once sorted it works great!

We needed a "normal" doorbell for those who seemed to find our camera doorbell too difficult to use. These work perfect and the chime is nice and loud. I do wish that the mounted doorbells were larger but they look nice and work well.

Very easy to set up. Instructions were written in an easy to understand format. Chime loudness is easy to adjust and has a mute setting. The push button mounts easily with screws or adhesive, but if you're using screws the mounting holes are not pre-drilled. a Sharp knife will open them up without much trouble.

While caring for our elderly father we bought the doorbell for inside use. He kept a transmitter by his bed at night, and took it with him on his Rollator when he walked throughout the house. We put the receiver in whatever room we were in, basement or garage and if he needed us he was able to call us just by pushing the transmitter button. This is a great option when you have elderly parents that are soft-spoken or have trouble speaking.
