I was looking for a solar charger to charge my ring doorbell so I wouldn't have to take it down so often to charge. I originally bought the one by Ring but it didn't charge as well. I still had to take it down every week to charge. With this one, I charged it to 100% first and then hooked it up. Its was really easy. Since I've installed this charger I have not had to take it down to charge. It keeps it at around 73%. It has been 2 1/2 weeks and still keeping a charge! It even charges on cloudy days! This is a very good buy! I highly recommend!

Product sucks - dont buy!! Ist one arrived, broken power connector. 2nd one arrives, connected works intermittently. Tried all connections etc, reconnected terminals, ensured in sun and its faulty. Product support is useless, its all about Ring and nothing about the solar charger. No contact info for the manufacturer and if you send them a message via Amazon, no response.

My device is doorbell 4. The panel seems to work and can be detected in the app, but it took about a day to get reflected in the app. And there seems to be a lag such that in the night (10pm) it’s shown as charging, but in daytime shown as connected but not charging.

I bought this solar charger to avoid buying extra battery and trying to avoid the hassle of charging batteries. The installation was really easy, my. door bell fits perfectly and since day one this has been working perfectly. I have no issue so far, the door bell is always on and the batter always more than 95% charge. I recommend this product is you don't want to buy additional batteries and void wiring your doorbell.

I bought this solar charger for my ring doorbell 2020 release because I'm unable to wire mine in. So I searched Amazon for something to use so that I didn't have to continuously take down my ring doorbell to charge, because let's just say that defeats the purpose of having it, right? So I eventually came across this solar charger for it, and couldn't be happier. I mean this thing works awesome and is so simple to put on, & also has an adjustable solar panel, so that u can move it up or down to set it in the right spot to get enough sun . So if ur looking for a quick, easy, and not so expensive choice to keep ur video doorbell recording at all times then this device is for u, & I promise you won't regret it.
