Updated review: I initially liked the setup even with the lack of quality of the chimes. But Doorbell transmitters went out after a couple years. There is no battery so I’m stuck with buying a new set again. Not happy My previous review::Great product, easily setup but chime music needs to be improved It had 2 doorbells (transmitters) and 3 chimes ( receivers). Exactly what we needed. Once you set the first receiver for the first doorbell, the others pick that up from 1st receiver so you don’t have to go thru all the steps again There are 52 chime/music selections and each transmitter can be set to a specific one so you know which door is ringing. Out of the 52 chime selections, most are very tinny digitized music that most people don’t want to hear. I found only 2 barely acceptable. With current digital technology, the quality of the chimes should be much higher

I bought this for my mom to use in her new apartment. It's her first time living alone in an apartment that has ground floor entry and she was anxious that she wouldn't hear if someone tried to break in. I have a similar device on my front and back door and thought this would be a perfect solution. Clearly not all of these types of devices were created equally. I told my mom that installing these would be really simple and straightforward and so was a little surprised when she asked if I could come over to help. She is pretty tech savvy so I was surprised. The first problem was that her door frame and door have a bit of height difference, maybe half an inch or so. I didn't think this would be an issue because my back door has an almost 2 inch difference between the door frame and the door and my alarm still works fine, but this brand seems to be a lot more finicky. I made a lift for the door sensor so it would align at the exact same height as the door frame. Problem solved. Or so I thought.... Then it didn't want to connect to the speaker. After much wailing and gnashing of teeth, I got it to connect and selected the desired alarm. I then go through the same song and dance with her back door. Mind you, all this took about 2 hours and more 4 letter words than I normally use in a month. The next day I asked her how she is liking her door alarms, and she says they worked once and then stopped. I was thinking she might be messing with me, she found all of my swearing very amusing the night before, so I popped over thinking that she was just waiting for a laugh. Nope. THE DARN THINGS WEREN'T WORKING. I tried everything that I could think of and they would work for about 5 minutes, and then just stop. I would go through the process of pairing them again the cycle would repeat. I am a fairly calm rational person most of the time, but these little things inspire rage. Maybe I got a defective set, but I waited too long to set these up so I couldn't return them and I am not about to purchase another set. DO NOT BUY THIS UNLESS YOU ARE TRYING TO INFLICT SUFFERING UPON YOURSELF AND OTHERS.

I put the item where I needed it, put all the sensors on the doors. Followed easy instructions and viola, we have a chime in our house. Our son has autism and at times we were worried that he will take walks when we are least expecting, so this notifies us right away when someone opens the door. They work great and picked the sound, volume, that we like. Saw some reviews on negative about this product, so hopefully our copy doesn't have any of those, just had it for a day and love it. Lets see if we feel the same way few weeks from now, but for now, amazing and easy to use product.
