    • Worth the cost.
This is a good value. Not a heavy duty BBQ but you have to pay at least twice the price to get better quality. Some say it is small. Not exactly. It is pretty large but when divided into four cooing venues it becomes smaller. Not what you want for a large family or neighborhood BBQ but we have used the gas grill, the charcoal grill and the gas burner all at the same time so with a little planning you can feed a larger group with a variety of food all at once. I have not used the smoker yet but will soon. We live on our deck, watch TV outside and enjoy our yard so we'll see how long it lasts .Time will tell how long it will last but it is exactly what we were looking for and use it often. It took about two hours to assemble but if your not mechanical it might take longer. Directions are very good and I suggest you follow them exactly or you will be doing things over. Be sure to season grills with vegetable oil. Save extra screws. Again, you get what you pay for and $300 is not a high end BBQ but we are happy with it. ... show more

Disliked the quality of the metal, time consuming assembly. The quality of the product is low. I do not think it will be a long lasting grill. For short term it will do

    • Assembly not pleasant, great product though.
It was missing parts and the instructions aren’t complete as they’re for a different product. It took two days to figure it out. I was able to get it together and working still and it is a great smoker. It’s very handy that the smoker box comes off for easy cleaning.     • Inferior product to similar product owned before
Unfortunately, I did not compare measurements with this product and the one that I owned that looked similar in pictures. The old one was much larger and seemed to be made of better material. The cooking area on this product was not even large enough to place a large aluminum pan like the old one. I can't even get two small aluminum pans on this new one. It was a huge disappointment since I like to do a lot of grilling. Cooking for large groups like I normally do will take a lot more work browning, transfering to small pans and placing them in the oven. Also, the propane tank on the old grill was hidden in a rack behind the grill. This tank is ridiculously exposed tilted on the side of the grill. About the only things I like about this grill was the infrared burner on the left side was replaced with a real burner and the charcoal side of this new one has a warming rack (small but it is there and the old grill didn't have one.) The grill arrived on time but the box was in terrible shape top and bottom. Both sides were still partially open and had been retaped poorly. I thoroughly expected parts to be missing but that wasn't the case. I took pictures of the box to send in in case I had to return everything. I should have returned it anyway and would have if I'd known the disappointment I'd be experiencing. ... show more

This grill came very well packaged. No pieces were damaged or missing. There was a Customer Service number very prominently packed in case a part was missing/damaged or for questions. I thought that was a very nice service orientated touch. The assembly instructions were very well written and easy to follow. It's clear that a lot of thought went into making the assembly processes very user friendly. The grill looks great and after one run we could not be happier with it. Amazing product. Easy to assemble within an acceptable amount of time. Was discouraged that the hinge was not welded properly for smoker door. So upon arrival the hinge for the smoker was not attached. Nice size & hoping its heavy enough for windy weather & upholds through hail storms. Was a Christmas present for the husband, can't wait come this spring to use it. Would still recommend. ... show more

    • Arrived damaged - too much trouble to return -
Arrived damaged - cabinet assembly side dented and cracked, lids dented, seems it was dropped or knocked in transit - a real pain to box back up and return. Once assembled, the propane tank side is very wobbly and I'll need to brace to avoid issues. Definitely the last Smoke Hollow I'll ever buy and regret not getting the Oklahoma Joe's - better built and about $100 cheaper. I gave 1 star only because there is no "0" star option.
