I have only used the AdirPro Grade Rod a couple of times since receiving, been too cold. It has worked great, the aluminum is much better than the fiberglass rods we have been using. It was smaller than I thought it would be but that is not a bad thing. In fact it works well in storing in the cab of my company pickup, Ram 2500 quad-cab, and much easier to work with. After working with it the couple of times I prefer the light weight, the smallness of the unit and the ease to unfold and fold it up at the end of the project. Oh, the price was also great. The aluminum grade rod is perfect for my use. Along with the hand level I use, I am able to quickly take measurements to check roadway grading without setting up a full level. The rod is lightweight and clear. The included bag is perfect to keep it safe as it stows perfectly under the back seat of my F150. The balance when fully extended is really good. Some are very top heaven. This one isn't. A great rod at a great price. Definitely buy one if you think you need it. ... show more

Exactly as I expected, except that it telescopes to a much smaller size - that is a good thing. Economical enough for infrequent homeowner use. Measurements are in feet and inches and I would prefer tenths of a foot, but I am good at math so not really a problem. I love the bubble level to make sure I am holding the level square to a laser level or transit. Seller/Manufacturer contacted me before I even received the item to let me know they were available to resolve any issues encountered. Includes a fabric case that could be more durable. I would have paid perhaps $5-10 more for a more durable carry case. I can probably find something more durable to carry it for about as much on my own. ... show more
