The White Screw Caps don't fit snug and fall out. I used a small piece of plumbers tape, folded over the back circle 2-3 times (don't want it to show on the front) and then it was snug. Also, don't predrill the screws, just use a little force to get the screw started. Used a multi-tool instead of a jig saw, as I left the door in place. It’s a pretty door but if you have a fat cat it won’t last long. The hinges are plastic and after a year or two they crack. Also, the screws it comes with are in no way long enough.you definitely will need screws almost twice the length of the ones the door comes with. It’s ok door and one that fits my 20 year old sliding door panel. New ones are like $700 for my type doors so the replacement pet door is really my only choice for now. The media could not be loaded. Easy to install but will have to be replaced for a better one. This one lets a ton of air in and is open most of the time because any force wind will push it in Also, the sliders locking it do not naturally face the grooves on the flap, You'll have to catch it by its edge with your finger nails and try different positions before finding the right one. Not easy since there's no feedback, you'll know you got it right when the flap is blocked, not before. In short, get a better cat door ... show more
