    • GREAT!
Style: Cage+Litter Box
My 3 month kitten traveled for almost 3 hours without complaining. He ate, slept and used the litter box. I placed an aluminum disposable roasting pan inside the litter box that came with the carrier to keep it clean. I used the carrier to keep him in when not at home or sleeping. He seemed to like it because he would get in while it was still open. I would still use it for sleeping when at home, but he has a 2 tier cage when he's home. In other words, this product has multiple purpose. It works GREAT! I like the fact that it's lightweight and easy to transport from one place to the other. It fits in my car well. It's a very good product for the money. Very easy to handle. It's sturdy for what it's intended for. It would work for adult cats, as well. I intend to use it also for him as adult and for my other adult cats. The only negative is folding it back up. It has many steps to fold it. I made to step 14 well, after that, went with just common sense and flatten it enough to put back in its bag. I held it together with the elastic band that originally held it together. After all, it's nicely kept in the bag for next time. ... show more

    • If you are thinking about it - BUY IT!!
Style: Cage+Litter Box
I recently moved over 1,000 miles and had to travel with two cats. Two cats who cry the entire 2 mile trip to the vet in their individual carriers. I bought this hoping that it would give them more room and make them more comfortable. This was single handedly one of the best Amazon purchases I have ever made. They were both comfortable, there was room for their litterbox and they used it with no mess! They could see me through the mesh throughout the drive. One thing I especially loved is that I left this large carrier in the car (strapped in!) and used their individual carriers to and from the hotel. In the morning I had worried they would give me a hard time, but I opened the side for the small carrier and large carrier and they gladly stepped in without any hesitation or even trying to get out. This was a huge relief! Another thing that was great about the litterbox was that I was able to bring it inside the hotel easily and then back out. It is large enough to work for the kitties, but small enough to easily transport. It also cleaned well! When we got home and I unloaded the car and moved this large cat carrier inside (our apartment was empty for over a week waiting for a pod) they both made a beeline for this large carrier, this is where they felt safe. I wish my apartment wasn't so tiny because I would gladly leave this out for them year round as they really love it and see it as their comfort zone. If you are going to take a long road trip with cats, I cannot recommend this carrier more highly. My cats fussed for about the first hour and then were 100% peaceful the other 19! I think I paid $47 or so for the carrier and the litterbox - this was completely worth every penny! ... show more

    • Absolutely love this thing.

Review Image by CEW
Took our kitty on a roadtrip with it. Worked great and buckled into two seatbelts in back seat. Easy transfer to luggage carrier so no need to ever let your cat outside. A huge relief to be able to travel safely with our kitty. It comes with an easy-to-clean litter box, and you can enter into the crate from top or side so you can poke an arm in to fix something if need be. It's not a totally rigid structure so it's more forgiving when packing up a car with multiple animals, and gear. We could see our cat easily but could also cover her for sun protection, etc. Amazing design - seems like they thought of everything. The only thing to keep in mind is that this carrier can be awkward to move around or pick up. With your cat inside, be mindful of the weight distribution so as not to let the carrier fall. It dumped on us one time before I got used to moving it, but it wasn't too big of a deal - just takes some getting used to. Overall the carrier just gave us one less thing to worry about, and made us feel super comfortable traveling with our sweetie pie. We paired this with the calming spray that we used about a half hour before putting her into the carrier and it worked like a champ. She was an amazingly chill passenger! ... show more

    • So far, So good.
Style: Cage+Litter Box
I understand that I bought this used, so the expectation of getting the bundle with the litter box was a little fragile. Still, I'm a little upset that I didn't get the litter box. However: I bought this carrier because my two cats and I will be travelling cross-country this summer. My oldest cat hates car travel, and my hope is that being in a carrier with his younger brother will help ease his anxiety. The move isn't for several months yet, but I opened this carrier (with ease) and laid it open on the floor so that it becomes a more normal thing. And let me say: the anxious old man who hates cars? He took to this thing right away; he spends most of his time in there and seems to love it. He is going to hate me when he finally realizes what this carrier is for. I might add some stability for the bottom of the carrier, but it is nice and large with plenty of room for cats to move and hopefully feel comfortable. ... show more

    • Worked great
Style: Cage+Litter Box
I don't know about fitting TWO cats unless they get along stupendously...I only put one cat. That being said it is pretty good. My cats normally get SUPER anxious while driving (even with medication they will still yell the whole way) but they were generally OK with this once we got going and they figured out we weren't going to the vet. I had one cat in this and one cat in another carrier for a 3 day move journey. I alternated carriers based on whichever one would come make a home in here while we were at the hotel....That's right, they just kinda came and made themselves at home in here. No struggle or fighting. Pretty easy to plop one inside and go. They had lots of room to move around and adjust, even with the litter box inside. My only issue is that the lack of rigidity on the bottom means I have to take everything out before I move the carrier unless I want litter and water all over my poor cat. But I am SO glad this exists and I didn't have to take one cat in the carrier we normally use for the vet. This is a must have for long journeys if your cats have travel anxiety. ... show more

    • Love this carrier!
Style: Cage+Litter Box
Bought the carrier + the litter box and love it! My cat loves it too! Overall: Plenty of space, super lightweight, but real durable. It fit in the backseat of my sedan. Cat likes it a lot. 5/5 really pleased. There's enough space in the carrier for the cat in his cat bed next to the litter box. Opi has not used the litter box while in the carrier and I don't think he will. So, I fill the whole carrier with Opi's favorite blanket and he snuggles in for the ride! The litter box is still a good addition for a travel litter box because it folds up and is easy to clean. I like the side flap because it is easy to check on him, but can be closed off so it's dark for him to sleep. I had only thought of the carrier as holding him during car rides, but it is a great "safe space" for him when we are in new places. It was great for him to have a big, cozy space to hide in while we were in the hotel. He loves snoozing in there! Whenever I leave it out in the apartment he goes and hangs out in there. Cons: The carrier is tricky to fold/twist back to a small shape for storage. It's doable, just tricky at first. The litter box is pretty small, so my cat kicks litter out of it sometimes. ... show more

    • Great Carrier for Long Trips!
Style: Cage+Litter Box
We bought the Necoichi carrier based on online reviews for a 10 hour drive with our cat during the holidays. The carrier was great, and helped our cat relax a bit during the journey. The carrier itself is not super sturdy, but it wasn't much of an issue. It took two of us to carry the carrier to and from the car, and nothing beyond a blanket could be placed on top. However, placing the car in the carrier and connecting it to the seatbelts as also fairly easy, as well as collapsing the carrier and putting it away. The carrier does come with the litter box, and a little mat. It does not have carabiner as someone else noted. However, our cat was unable to get out, although she did try too get out, so it wasn't that big of an issue. Overall, the cat did great. The carrier was great, as it allowed her to not feel super cramped in the car, as she was able to go between both sides. We ended up buying a small litter box, as she loved to sit in the litter box that came with the carrier. I would recommend this for cat owners who are going on long journeys. ... show more

    • First of all the set up is extremely easy. I have not tried to fold it up ...
Style: Cage+Litter Box
I bought this cat cage so I would have somewhere to secure my kitten when I was house sitting. I set it up in my apt. to see how my kitten took to it. First of all the set up is extremely easy. I have not tried to fold it up yet but it comes with good instructions so shouldn't be a problem. It also came with the litter box as promised which I think will work out really well. My kitten loves the cat cage. I put her food and water in it so she is in and out of it all day. She also has toys in there to play with. I wanted her to get use to the cage so it would be a fun place to be and it seems to be working. I am going to keep it up permanently and also look forward to taking it to a house sitting job this month. This is a very good product and the cage is very large so the cat does not feel trapped. She can see out the front and side too. For now she uses both of them as an exit and entrance. I am so glad I decided to make this purchase. It serves my needs and the needs of my kitten very well. ... show more
