Excellent product! Just make sure to measure the existing hole carefully to pick the right size. If you do not have a hole yet, there is an easy-to-use template enclosed with the package. The door is great, the swinging window works perfectly, and the little magnet stops it always exactly in the middle. The hardware and the screw cover fit great. All the stoppers work exactly as described. Now, we have to teach Tigger how to use it, since he is used to a hole only. But that's the fun part! ... show more

I installed this in an older mobile home metal door. It was easy to install. The only issues I have is the screws don't clamp the inside frame to the outside frame but a little caulking sealed around it fine. Also the lock seems to work hard, I'm hoping that with use it will loosen up and work easier. ... show more

We get the kitty on Friday but the install and function is good. I did add some additional felt to the top and bottom to close the air gaps and it really did the trick on not letting any extra air in while not affecting function. I’m actually surprised I don’t feel any draft coming through. I also added some white silicone to fill in the uneven surfaces of the door and it looks pretty good to me. ... show more

    • i was amazed i put it in myself
i had another cat door, they busted the flap so i had a hole there still needed to trim it. screwed in the front then the back and bam it was done.. nice simple door. I loved it. The locks are a little tough to work so i haven't really tried them. I want this one to last a little while.

It fits great, locks well, and is air tight. It took the cats a little bit to realize that they needed to push a little harder on it because of the brush seal, but they caught on quick enough. My cats are 10 to 15 pounds and they are able to go in and out with room to spare. Works great
