I was worried my dog would knock this over or even jump over it. I have a Pomeranian who is very determined when I try and keep him on the other end of the house so I can have people come in the house. So despite his best efforts, this held up well and worked. I can put it up and down easily and with my back, that's a big deal. So it's quick, easy and effective as well as affordable.

I bought this gate specifically to keep our new pug from raiding the cat’s food and water dishes. I installed it in the doorway of our laundry room, where the cat’s food and water are kept. The fit was spot‑on — it expanded easily to match the frame, and once in place, it feels rock solid. The attached rubber feet are a small detail that make a huge difference: they grip tightly against the walls, so the gate doesn’t slide or wobble even when the dog pushes against it. I was pleasantly surprised at how secure it feels without needing any tools or permanent hardware. The design also works beautifully for multi‑pet households. At 23 inches tall, it’s low enough that the cat can hop over it effortlessly, but high enough to keep the pug out. This dog gate exceeded my expectations in both quality and design. It’s sturdy, durable, and has an appealing aesthetic with adorable little dog paw cutouts. The locking mechanism isn't the easiest to use. It could be because I'm using it at the top of the stairs and there is molding there. When it latches it's pretty sturdy but sometimes it feels like I'm going to break the handle off when I'm trying to lock it in place

Works! I bought a used in very good condition to save a few bucks. A broken plastic piece of the gates outer corner fell onto floor upon opening. Box was in good condition. I’m keeping anyway, its entegrity and functionality remain. I would buy again! NEW
