Where do I start! I do a low and slow cook that takes 18 to 24hrs to cook and it finishes in the early morning hours. I needed a wireless thermometer that would alarm me when the meat reaches the proper temperature. This will not work. 1) the temp reading was about 20 degrees hotter then all the rest of my temp gauges. It alarmed 20 degrees before the correct temp was reached. 2) It only has a 50ft range from the probe with the grill cover closed. It would lose signal when I was in the bedroom. Doesn't do me any good if the signal doesn't reach in to the house. Grill is only 20ft from my front door. 3) The maximum temp it will read is 212 degree's. Barely enough to get to my desired meat temp but not enough to read my cooking temp. For this much money I was expecting a lot better devise. I was hoping this would allow me to get some sleep while it cooks over night. THAT DIDN'T HAPPEN!. I am returning this item! Worthless!

Smoker a couple of tri tips yesterday for the fam that came over. I used these temp probes but one problem I have is there isn’t a way to know which probe shows up on the app, is this probe the top template or bottom. They both worked nicely and since it was my first time using them after I paired them a couple of weeks ago, it did take a minute to get them working again and connected to Bluetooth but I really never did figure which one was which one. I also had my wired probe in one of the tri tips and there was between 3 and 5 degrees difference between the two. Not too alarming since I use my hand held temp probe to get a better accurate temp. Since I got them during prime days I’m not unhappy.

I cooked my first pork butt with this wireless thermometer this weekend. The instructions clearly state that it is accurate up to 212° but I figured I would use one of the probes to measure ambient temperature at 225 expecting it not to work and it didn't. I cook my pork butts up to 201° and this was within 1 degree of my meat thermometer pen. The magnet made it nice to stick on the side of the smoker. Super easy to use and set up within about 30 seconds. The distance of the wireless Bluetooth made this very versatile being able to sit in the living room and keep an eye on the temperature.

I used it to cook steak in oven and it worked pretty well. Just be aware you can't actually leave the signal area too far despite the mobile connection. I guess it's still on bluetooth not wifi

The media could not be loaded. I really like this smart thermometer. The probes are very beefy and are durable. The case is not actually wood. It’s a little bit more of like a plastic. But it’s very easy to connect to the app. As soon as you pop one of the probes out you can connect to the app via Bluetooth and get the temperature readings right away. The distance is really good on it too, it even goes through our concrete walls out onto the patio.

I had previously purchased a probe by a different vendor and was only able to use it when my phone was within 3’ of the stove or grill. This sensor set works all across the house. Can’t say how much happier it is to not be stuck next to the grill or stove when cooking. Love this product.
