This works very well. It was easily paired with my phone and notified me when the meat was at the proper temperature. The only complaint is that it shipped with two AA batteries but one was dead. I thought that the thermometer was dead until I checked the batteries. Having the ability to have 6 probes is very nice. It wasn’t apparent from the description, but it does come with a clip to secure a probe for the grill. I have not tried the meat and grill probe in tandem yet.

I've been quite impressed with this thermometer. I've had it for about 10 months now and I've found it to be very accurate and easy to use. I've checked the probes with ice water and boiling water and they are right on. I don't trust the thermometer that comes with my smoker (they are notoriously inaccurate), so I usually leave one probe on the grill in the smoker to monitor the temperature and then another in whatever I'm smoking, and the results have been spectacular! The only reason that I can think of to get a more expensive thermometer would be if you wanted one with Wi-Fi capability instead of Bluetooth. But honestly, what are you going to do if you're 50 miles away and the temperature of the meat or the smoker changes and something needs to be adjusted? As long as you're within a reasonable distance, your phone can pick up the signal. If you really need to be farther away than Bluetooth range, spend the extra money and get a Wi-Fi version, but at this price, you can't beat the performance and convenience.

The ONLY downside to this is otherwise outstanding BBQ thermometer is that the case has nonslip finish that attracts dirt. We wrapped it in plastic wrap to solve that problem. But even with that little hiccup, this is hands-down the absolute BEST barbecue thermometer my husband has ever owned. {He has had several remote digital thermometers, but there were always various issues that made them less than fun.) This is my husband's first Bluetooth model and he absolutely LOVES this one! It's very intuitive. Like any man he typically tries to play with his new toys without reading the directions. This time he was successful immediately It is super easy to program and the screen is excellent. It is so easy to read. He has four probes already, and we're going to buy an additional two. He has two Big Green Eggs and is having too much fun using this device with them. And I'm having fun too because I get out of the kitchen. Hubby has pretty much barbecued every night since he got this thing for Father's Day 2019 and it's now the end of August, which speaks to its durability/reliability. It's been outside in misty rain and survived, wrapped in the aforementioned plastic wrap. I can't speak to if it would survive being outside in a downpour. Another upside for me is that when hubby does an overnight cook, you know - when he's cooking half a cow, the app for this thermometer allows him to switch the alarm to vibrate mode and turn off the audio alarm. That's great because when the temperature changes in the Big Green Egg in the middle of the night, the alarm vibration wakes him up without any audio to wake me up. Plus, the range on the Bluetooth probes is fabulous. We have a 1/2 acre lot, and my husband can walk to any point on our lot and still have a feed from the thermometers. Another nice little aspect is the way the wires on the probes wrap for storage. There's a little track they seat in, like on an earbud keeper. You WANT this product. It's great.

Packed well and delivered fast. No damaged what so ever when delivered. I haven't used the device but tested it and so far it reads the room temp of where I was correctly as I have an echobee device that shows my room current temp and was the same as the thermostat reading. App is great and temps and alarms can be modified to your liking. This will definitely make my brisket smoking or any types of food cooked perfectly! Was wishing it can be connected via WiFi but it isn't. Please modify the title and remove the word WiFi. For an IT person like me, using the word WiFi will make me think it's a wifi capability(connecting via internet wifi at home). Although, I read all the comments but wanted to test for myself since it does say wifi. All in all, great product and can't wait to use it. Will update this review once I've used the device. By the way, it comes with a pronge clip for your probe which I didn't know. This is A+ for me since I wanted it. LCD: Great light and easy view. Magnet: Strong enough to hold the device. Rubbery back, great for gripping any surface you use if you don't want to hang it. Probes: Great quality and comes with two. Will be a five star once I test the device and the outcome comes out good. :)
