I use this to check my sourdough dough temperature, and it really helps me keep the dough consistent from batch to batch. I love this. It has a normal cell battery that is coincidently the same cell battery that my car FOB uses. I can buy that size Cell Battery at any Walmart or Target or Auto Store. Those smaller cell batteries are hard to find, and require buying more than I will need at one time. So, I am tickled pink that this uses a common and easy to find size. It works well. Well made.
