Works fast and easy to read. Definitely ,not waterproof unable to read numbers if it gets slightly wet. I removed battery and let it dry out before replacing battery. Now works again. Previous one I bought stopped working after getting slightly wet.

This thermometer is the best thing ever. It takes the guess work out of knowing if it's done and is so easy to use. Just a simple wipe keeps it clean. Temp is in F or C and there's a guide right on the thermometer so you don't have to look things up online or find any charts among your kitchen stuff. It's all right there on the thermometer. Seems to be pretty accurate and it's easy to read - brightness is good but print is small. Perfect small size for easy storage. Like it so much that I bought two more for stocking stuffers.
