    • Makes my transom motor quick release

This has made connecting my trolling motor a breeze. I fish electric only lakes and use a transom trolling motor on my jon boat. I need to remove it when covering my boat between trips so unscrewing the leads to the battery/cut off switch everytime was a hassle. My motor is rated at 50A so this is perfect for my application. I mounted the female end on an angle aluminum bracket on my boat so all I need to do when I get to the lake is mount the motor, plug the male end in and, click! I'm ready to roll. The included breaker is definitely a plus and works well. I hooked a clamp meter up to the positive lead and tested the breaker by getting the motor propeller buried in some thick vegetation and watched the amps rise past 55A and it clicked off at 62 amps. The waterproof cap keeps things dry as it is exposed to rain but when I open it, it is always 100% dry. Good connector/breaker solution for your trolling motor. ... show more
