I own multiple freezers/refrigerators where I use MOCREO sensors to monitor their temperatures remotely. I often travel and it is important to me to be able to monitor their performance. The MOCREO app is very simple to use and it provides Temperature/Humidity set points for alert monitoring which is very important to me. I have a Samsung Android phone and get notifications each time one of the Temperature/Humidity set points have exceeded their limits. The hub and sensors are very easy to set up and they provide additional information like battery and signal strength, and gives me the ability to name each sensor independently like "Large Beef Freezer". Also the battery life of the sensors is excellent. Customer service is outstanding! Of all the sensors I have, one went off line due to a swelled battery. I contacted MOCREO customer service to ask what the part number of the battery was so I could purchase a replacement battery on line. MOCREO provided me the battery part number and went above my expectations by sending me a replacement sensor at no charge! Who does that these days? This product works great and gives me a peace of mind that my freezer and fridge are working while I’m out of town. Easy to setup and can set up so it alerts you if temps is above or below the set temp range you set up.

Products work well for monitoring the freezers in my home and when away, the added peace of mind knowing that you will be alerted on your phone if any system goes out of range is great. Customer service was wonderful as well with one minor issue I was having. Great product

    • Auto defrost freezerz
First of all it does a great job and easy to set up and use. Accuracy is excellent. I have a regular freezer thermometer in the same freezer and it matches the average temperature reported by the Mocreo. My last freezer died and things started defrosting before I went to garage and heard the soft beeping of tge old freezers alarm. The replacement freezer is frost free freezer. I set the alarm on the Mocreo at 15F and it went off at 11pm the first night. The temperature was rapidly rising to a peak of 38F. That sent us into a panic. Just as quickly it started dropping back to its original temp of 1.3F. Total time of cycle was about 15 minutes. Turns out to keep the coils defrosted frost free freezers like mine cycle at least 3 times per day by heating the coils to remove any ice build up. This is built in to the freezer and you can't stop it or in most cases alter the cycles. Mine will occasionally go into this cycle if it detects frost build up on the coils. The temperature rise on these is far less and shorter duration than the normal cycle. When you look at the apps temperature graph the spikes caused by the defrost cycle are easily identifiable. To prevent alarms 3 or more times per day I had to raise the high alarm temp to 42 degrees. I wish they had a software toggle in the app for freezers like mine to address the frost free cycles. My refrigerators freezer is also frost free but its spikes are far smaller but more frequent (goes to 10F many times per day with same characteristic spike). That freezer is full the 21 cu ft freezer in tge garage is about 1/2 full right now. Another minor hint. The reset hole on the transmitter is very small make sure you position it so you can easily get at it if you need too. Once stuck on the freezer with the adhesive button its very difficult to remove it to push the reset. Overall an excellent product I recommend it as long as you understand the auto defrost issues. I just had a problem with one sensor which was no longer connecting to the hub.and reached out to them via their app. They responded very quickly and we solved the issue very quickly. I was very impressed with their customer support and response. Their responsiveness, positivity replacement of the malfunctioning sensor is another reason to highly recommend this product and brand. ... show more

    • Works well and exemplary customer service
I bought this for my garage freezer, and use the second sensor in my upstairs freezer. My WiFi is not strong in the garage, but I was able to place the hub indoors so that it could pick up both the WiFi and the sensor signal, and it works very well. I had previously tried a brand that had a single unit placed inside the freezer and attempted to pick up the Wifi signal from there. It worked while it was warm, but as soon as the unit got cold - not long! - it stopped working. The MOCREO worked much better for me. I love the graphs it shows of freezer temperatures, so I can see exactly how it normally cycles and defrosts and tailor the alerts so that they only go off if something is wrong. It gives us great peace of mind when we are away from home. I had one occasion on which the hub went offline (quite possibly as a result of problems with my WiFi, I don't really know). I didn't notice for a couple of days, then power-cycled it a few times to get it working again. I was surprised and pleased to get an email shortly after from Stephanie at MOCREO support saying that their periodic maintenance checks had revealed that my hub had been offline, and she wanted to check if it was working and offered help. We had an email exchange during which she was very responsive, friendly and helpful, the upshot of which was that she enrolled me in a beta program that provides an alert if the hub goes offline, and she suggested a way for me to get the alert email passed on to my spouse as well.
