  • My experience with the Inkbird meat thermometer (4 Probes) My experience with the Inkbird meat thermometer (4 Probes)
As a longtime grill enthusiast, I've trusted Inkbird products for years, and this Wireless Meat Thermometer with 4 probes is yet another home run from the brand. The quality and consistency are exactly what I've come to expect. The setup was straightforward, and the build feels both sturdy and thoughtfully designed. The real standout for me is the WiFi connectivity and they nail it. My home’s backyard is notoriously tricky for wireless devices, but this thermometer maintains a rock-solid connection with my phone, no matter which corner of the house I’m in. The accompanying app is intuitive, lets me monitor multiple meats at once, and sends instant notifications when temperatures hit the perfect mark. The four included probes are a game changer for gatherings: I can monitor different cuts at the same time, ensuring steaks, chicken, and ribs are all served at their ideal doneness. Clean-up is a breeze, and the probes store neatly when not in use. In summary, if you’re looking for reliability, accuracy, and true wireless convenience, the Inkbird thermometer delivers in every category. Highly recommended for novices and veteran pitmasters alike! ... show more

  • Reliable Probes & Outstanding Customer Service
I’ve been using INKBIRD products regularly, and I’ve honestly been impressed with both the quality of the probes and the customer service behind them. The probes have been accurate, reliable, and easy to use whether I’m grilling, smoking, or monitoring temps during longer cooks. Setup is straightforward, and the app connectivity has worked great for me. What really stood out was their customer support. They were quick to respond, professional, and genuinely helpful when I had questions. It’s refreshing to deal with a company that stands behind its products and takes care of its customers. Overall, INKBIRD has become one of my go-to brands for temperature monitoring. Solid products, dependable performance, and excellent support. Highly recommend! ... show more

  • Amazing value and works like a charm
Please note that I'm writing this review after using this wireless unit one time. I will say that the instructions aren't perfect about to set it up, but even so, it didn't take long to get the Inkbird app on my phone and get everything linked up to wifi. I do my cooking in a building that is some distance from my home, but it does have wifi. With this thermometer, I was able to put three huge hens in my pellet grill, with one probe in the breast of each chicken, then I could monitor how they were cooking from my home. The app made it easy to select each probe and then tell it I was cooking chicken. It knew to set the temperature at 165. Other apps I have used were clumsy and hard to set. Once the chickens were close to 165, I went back to the other building. I have had other thermometers that were supposed to transmit long distances and/or required wires to connect them to a base unit. But this works almost like magic. With wifi, there is no limit to how far you can go and still know exactly how your meat is doing. I give this five stars for ease of setting up with wifi, the fact that the probes are wireless, the ease of using the Inkbird app, and how well it all worked. ... show more

  • Disappointed
Update #2 - 8/15/25: Pulled the probes and set them on the counter in my kitchen. Went out to the garage hours later and realized that I forgot to shut the main unit off. All three probes (4th went offline during the cook) read above 90 degrees while sitting on my granite countertop for 5 hours in a 67 degree house. That’s probably why my brisket was so hard. Thought it was overcooked, but maybe it was just undercooked and didn’t have a chance to break down. Either way it was easily the worst brisket I’ve ever had. All three briskets using this thermometer were bad. Update 8/15/25: Inkbird sent me a replacement unit and I’m currently smoking my second brisket with the new unit. I’m not sure how anyone thinks this is a good thermometer. Nothing is better about the new one they sent. In fact, I’ve noticed more issues. I’m currently only using one probe while the other three sit in the base unused. Probe two is fine, probe three is somehow reading 120 degrees internal and 130 ambient while sitting in the base, and probe four is “offline”. This really has me questioning inkbird products. I’m cooking a brisket as I type this. The cook started out well, but then the probes started randomly disconnecting. I’m using a weber kettle and the base is less than 10 feet from the grill. I’m connected to wifi so this should not be a problem. At such short range, Bluetooth should not even be a problem. I currently have two of the four probes offline and the only apparent way to reconnect is to remove the device on the app, physically take the probe out of the brisket and attach the probe to the base, pair it via the app, then place back in the brisket. That is 100% not an option. Literally all four of the probes have lost connection at some point today. I can’t keep taking the lid off to reconnect them. This is my first cook with this device and I have to say I’m very disappointed. Also, the ambient temps are all over the place, like 30-50 degrees difference between them. There’s no way one probe is 50 degrees hotter than the one 3 inches away. I have some other complaints that I’m not going to explain now. This is my third inkbird device, and despite some minor issues with the other devices (sous vide and wired thermometer), I like the brand well enough to order this device, but it just doesn’t work very well. I would look elsewhere. ... show more

  • Good product. Could use some improvements
So far I'm liking these. Set up was a breeze and they seem very accurate. I did lose connection when I was connected via Bluetooth and left to go to the store. I realize Bluetooth won't stay connected if I go drive off, but What I mean is when I came back they showed to be connected however they were just showing the temp before I left and it wasn't updating when I was back in range. I would have preferred that they dropped completely and not displayed anything because by the time I figured out it was no longer updating, I was exactly at my target temp, so I almost missed it and overcooked my turkey. Another thing I wish they would provide is a standalone wireless ambient thermometer that I could place in the smoker before the meat goes on. I realized during this last cook that my dial thermometer which is above the cooking surface, reads a lot higher than the ambient probe temp at the cooking point. So I ended up needed to get the temp up before my actual cook began. No fault in these probes since that's not what theyre advertised as, but would be nice for Inkbird to come up with something just for ambient temp that could be positioned on the smoker where the meat will eventually go. I have also seen other brands that have a wireless thermometer that replaces the dial thermometer in the lid of smokers, so that would even be a nice addition for inkbird to offer. As far as what this kit does have that I wish they would improve on is the ambient temp has no option to set a high or low warning. Only the actual meat temp has this. They really need to add this in the app, since a dropping pit temp (or one that is rising too much) could make or break your cook. Overall very nice product. Ill update in the future if the quality doesnt seem to be holding up. ... show more

  • Really impressed... better than the rest! Really impressed... better than the rest!
I've been using this unit now for about a month and really enjoy the multiple connection capacity of Bluetooth plus Wi-Fi. The product presentation when opening the Amazon box was very impressive. It is a great usable box that I can store the unit and its materials in for safekeeping. I do travel with these types of units so this is a great way to keep everything all in one spot. Handling the device for the first time it is significantly better build quality than other types of wireless thermometer devices I've used. The ceramic and stainless steel construction really blew me away and did not expect that. Gives me a lot of confidence when using and as well cleaning the unit that it has enough Integrity to not break under regular use. After charging the unit significantly I was able to use the manual which describes fairly simply how to connect both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth capacities while using the Inkbird IOS app. I've been using the app with other wired thermometer devices from Inkbird that also have the Bluetooth/Wi-Fi capacity. Recent upgrade to the app is definitely an improvement. I was amazed as initial use was while we were away from the house at a very remote ranch style property with limited capacity for Wi-Fi and as well cell service that I was able to get all set up and installation done without fault. Our initial Cook using the device included multiple different cooking options in multiple areas all at once which the device handled easily. One probe was in a sous vide pork butt that was eventually finished on a smoker, probe two was used for chicken wings done on a grill probe three was for chicken breast done on a griddle and probe four was used in an oven for some baked fish. The response and accuracy of the device helped in providing us great timing of getting all these separate cooks done at the same time so that we could have service all at once. We were feeding 18 people and please excuse the poor quality video but does show the results of each separate cook. Following weekend I use the devices on brisket style tri-tip with two probes in each end of each tri-tip has a fail safe to ensure even good quality and the devices performed flawlessly at my home. I assure you that you will be pleased with your purchase of this device has it far exceeds in quality and features other competitors in the marketplace – of which I have used. The Wi-Fi is a plus for long duration cooks when being away from the house is necessary, but still want to monitor things. Only one flaw I did see is that due to the heft of the product it could be a little too much for certain light fish types. Inkbird has also stood by their products that I've purchased in the past so I have a great comfort and understanding that should anything be faulty or go wrong with the device that they will standby with good customer service and technical support. ... show more

  • Great Thermometer with Impressive Range and Easy Setup Great Thermometer with Impressive Range and Easy Setup
I recently purchased this thermometer and I’m really impressed with its performance! I have a brick house so range has always been a concern with thermometers. The range on the Inkbird is fantastic, even better than my Meater block and my Chef IQ probes, allowing me to monitor from further away without interruption. The range is comparable to my Thermoworks thermometer. When the connection does drop, it reconnects quickly. This was one of my primary complaints with other thermometers. My favorite feature is the magnetic base unit, which allows me to mount it directly to my grill or to leave on the front of my fridge for easy reading. The app is easy to use but I find it more convenient to be able to look at the base unit directly without having to open my phone. This is where the Inkbird stands out from its competitors – all of which require you to open the app to monitor your cook. The app is similar to those offered by the other brands, providing a catalog of common cooks, the ability to repeat prior cooks, and the ability to monitor meat and ambient temp over a period of time. The app and base work well together to let me customize temperatures and timers for different meats. The probes are well-made and cleaning has been a breeze thus far. I’m not sure if it is supposed to be dishwasher safe but I have cleaned them that way several times without any issues. The ends are a bit wider which is a plus since my Meater probes fall out of the silverware tray in my dishwasher fairly frequently. My only minor concern is that the numbers painted on each probe might wear off over time, but so far they have held up well through several uses and washes. The probes are fairly accurate, closely matching the temp shown on my hand held thermometer. The only glitch I’ve noticed is that you get an error warning that the probe is too hot if it touches the grates when you flip meat and the probe is not straight in. I’ve gotten better at putting the probe in so that’s been less of an issue now, but you do need to be a bit more careful with thinner cuts of meat. Overall, I highly recommend this thermometer. It’s durable, easy to use, and delivers great results! Definitely a greatr value for all it does. ... show more

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Thermometer! Inkbird Wireless Thermometer Review If you’re into grilling, smoking, or just want to nail that perfect roast, the Inkbird Wireless Thermometer is a game changer. Seriously, this little gadget has made my cooking adventures so much easier and more enjoyable. First off, let’s talk about reliability. Whether I’m cooking a brisket or baking a cake, I can trust that it’ll give me accurate readings every time. It’s reassuring to know that I’m not going to be serving undercooked meat to my family—yikes! The battery life is impressive too. I’ve had it running for hours without needing to recharge, which is a huge plus when you’re busy juggling multiple dishes. And with four probes, I can monitor different meats or even the temperature of my oven simultaneously. It’s like having a little sous-chef in the kitchen! Setting it up was a breeze. I’m not the most tech-savvy person, but I had it up and running in just a few minutes. The Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity are fantastic, allowing me to keep an eye on the temps from my phone while I relax on the patio with a drink. No more hovering by the grill every few minutes! Cleaning is another win. The probes are easy to wipe down, and I appreciate that there’s no complicated disassembly required. A quick rinse and I’m done! Connectivity to the inkbird app is super easy and set up only takes a minute or two. Overall, I highly recommend the Inkbird 4 probe Wireless Thermometer. It’s user-friendly, reliable, and makes cooking so much less stressful. If you love cooking as much as I do, this is definitely a must-have tool in your kitchen arsenal! ... show more
