    • Great Idea - Does NOT fit bags
This is an interesting litter box. This litter box does not fit bags in the drawer. They will get cut when you slide it back inside because it's too tight. My cats also refused to use it with the flap, which makes it much more messy. It's nice they provide a little mat, but I HATE the type they give. They always turn into these gross cemented litter blocks and I hate it. The odor control does seem to help. I'm not sure about the ionizer but it is very sensitive and will turn off if I even get my foot too close. I'm honestly not sure if it's actually helping, but I think it is so. ... show more

    • This product is not good, and poorly made
I was so excited to buy this product but have had several repeating issues with it. The touchscreen has malfunctioned and im unable to change the settings. Any button i press turns the whole thing off. The second issue is that there’s a tiny opening between the tray and the rest of the structure that my cats pee is going through and settling beneath the litter tray. This is creating a pool of cat pee beneath the tray creating a terrible odor. I will be returning this litterbox and sadly don’t recommend it to anyone ... show more

    • Perfect for my fat cat
My cat is a tuxedo and nearly 30 lbs and he has lots of room. He was a little afraid of the fan (which is super quiet to my human ears) but once he nudged the door, it stops. No odors and when I pulled out the tray to clean, there were still no smells and the litter looked brand new. I am very happy with this box so far and my minion is happy as well. ... show more

It's a great letterbox, the deodorizer works fairly well and it is large enough for my 9 pound cat. Litter stays in fairly well, mat catches a good amount of litter and the scoop works as intended. I took away one star as when I took the top off to deep clean the part that clicks into the bottom broke completely off. ... show more

My husband and I wanted to get a cat so when I saw this litter box I thought to order it. When we finally found one that needed a home, we got out the instructions and put it together. While we had a little trouble- after a few minutes of struggling to get the sides to stay- (I figured that if you pushed them hard enough they would clip-on)- after that the box went together easily. If there is one tip I would give to others about the box it would be- be patient when putting the frame of the box together. I think it was a little more of a struggle because of my hand issues and the fact my husband now has his own temporary "hand problem" but the instructions were easy to follow- basically putting the sides on, the back and front of the box- and then the top. You can then put on the door however my husband and I were potty training a new cat to us- but one who was a year old and had litter box "issues". So until we worked these out, we kept the door off. In the first few steps though, once you get those sides clipped onto the back- it's basically self explanatory from there (and putting the whole thing together may be to some people- without the issues we were having at the time, I think it may have been). The cat we found was a year old and hadn't been named at that time. We figured that the problems may have come from a lack of attention- because who doesn't name a cat in a year of having them? However we were grateful for the new family addition and grateful to the family who raised him after their cat had kittens. Of course since the cat didn't use a litter box to begin with- he did not want to go into an enclosed one. But we peppered it with treats and slowly coaxed him into it (and praised him with treats, hugs and praise after he used it). After two days he was using the box with ease and after a week- he was hanging out inside it. Because he likes to chill inside the box- we try and make sure it is cleaned after he uses it. But it is better to have him in the litter box than under the bed- as the cat seems to sometimes not be able to tell when he has to go to the bathroom. The litter box must remain plugged in to work- you can't charge it and then take it off- with no electricity going to it (and have it work). During that time- the box switches on and off- my husband tells me there is a motion sensor in it- that when the cat is not in it- the box airs out. But there has been absolutely no smell of litter, urine or anything having this litter box. There are a lot of selections and things on the monitor on the box- but I leave my husband to fool with them. He tells me he set the box and from there, it turns on and off when it needs to. I love that the box is easy to keep clean- not just the inside but the outside wipes down easily with cleaning spray. Also, the cat has not tracked litter outside this box!! All the other cats tracked litter out of their boxes in the past- but not this cat- or this box. Whether it's because of the cat or the box- all I know is that having no litter outside of a litter box is a relief! It could be because of the ledge in the box too- that the cat isn't able to drag a liter out of it, when he comes out- the ledge being so high. The box does come with a nice outside carpet too- but we haven’t had to use it. I really can’t say enough about how in love I am with this product- even with the slight challenge of getting the sides on (and this was more our fault- with the hand issues we were both having at the time). Once we clipped the sides together though, it was all smooth sailing. When we presented this cat with the litter box though- he literally fought us to stay out of it. A few days later- it’s his favorite place to “chill”. He’s got a lot of space in it too. While I wish he would have chosen other spaces, until he gets the “going to bathroom in the box” down perfectly- it seems to be no problem. This is one of those products that I say, I would have loved this box for all the cats I’ve had- but at least I have it now- and it’s such a relief to have! Added to review on June 30,2024- if the litter box has fresh litter our cat will jump in and lay inside. As you can see in the photo I added of him in the litter box as he rests his head on the ledge (we still haven't put on the door). Another thing we haven't had- is any kind of cat waste smell in the house with this litter box! ... show more
