I'm using this as a short connector between an interior valve and an exterior hose hookup, and I couldn't be more pleased. It's better than running a redundant long hose, and the flexibility that it offers me is great. It's in a damp basement so whether or not it truly withstands the test of time remains to be seen, but I have high hopes so far; it seems both lightweight and resilient. This hose seems extremely well constructed, and at the price point, it's a no brainer for anyone who needs a short run of hose -- likely for connection purposes. The included hose gaskets ensure a great connection without an additional purchase, but I'd of course recommend thread tape for an additional level of leak protection. Overall, a 5' hose is a relatively niche product, but if you know that's what you're looking for (like I did), you can't go wrong with this option.

This is my second stainless steel hose and at 15', weighs less than 2#! I have come to appreciate the lightweight flexibility that the stainless steel hose offers. We have a house faucet that is used to water our garden out back. This hose is used as a starter hose for the first 15'. It runs a few feet along the house, then takes a gentle 90 degree turn to head toward our garden, running along our deck before connecting to our longer hose. Two extra washers are included with this hose. Another feature I appreciate is that I have yet to have a single kink, which by itself is amazing as I have had to manage the kinks that occur in many hoses. In the past when I've been setting a sprinkler, this requires running back and forth to correct the annoying kink that brings the water pressure down to a trickle. And once a kink is established, I've discovered that it's likely to return in the same location. So to have a hose which doesn't kink makes one less annoyance I have in my world. I have made my life easier with having a lighter weight, non-kinking hose. So this hose goes in the recommended column in my book!

This hose has a limited diameter which may decrease flow rate noticeably, but given that is in the product description, you should know that before purchasing. This hose is lightweight, feels extremely sturdy, doesn't kink, doesn't leak, and is very flexible. Got it for a rain barrel to use with a 12v pump giving me pressurized water as needed, and it works great. Very nice that it coils nicely and I can store it when not in use unlike a lot of other cheap hoses.
