Description

The Skar Audio SDR-10 D4 10" dual 4-ohm subwoofer was engineered to dish out reliable, hard hitting, and low spectrum sound. Featuring a high flux ferrite motor, this woofer will provide extreme power handling for extended periods of time. The SDR series will quickly become a customer favorite, as it's perfect for people just entering the world of car audio all the way up to seasoned pros. The SDR-10 dual 4-ohm 10-inch car subwoofer features a 2.5” high temperature 4-layer high temperature copper voice coil that is attached to our Skar Audio signature red spider. The surround on the SDR series is a high roll foam surround which allows the woofer to produce riveting low end bass response. The SDR series has a max power rating of 1,200 watts and a RMS power rating of 600 watts. Sensitivity (Spl): 82.5 dB, Xmax: 13.5mm one-way, Fs: 39 Hz, Frequency Response: 28 Hz- 300 Hz, Mounting Depth: 6.08".

I love this sub. It looks fantastic first of all. This sub sounds great and gets loud! Due to its power handling capabilities and its ability to throw far because of its high xmass rating, this 10" sub is able to hit hard even at fairly low tones. It is also very tight and punchy making it sound good for rock and screamo as long as the songs are mastered well. This is the best subwoofer I have ever owned or heard in person. (I have experience with pioneer, Sony, and Rockford Fosgate subwoofers.) This does not hit as hard or loud as my previous dual 12" ported subs, but it gets close, and the trade off is that it has a much tighter sound and takes up less space in my trunk. My last peice of advice is get a good amp to power it. Do not buy a cheap Boss amp! they do not put out as much power as they claim and they under power this sub. (Trust me I tried it. and you can look up dyno tests on youtube to prove it.) I recommend getting a name brand amp such as Skar or Rockford Fosgate so you get the most out of this sub. ... show more

Tell ya what, going from 2 CT Sounds 10s to these, Like Night n Day.. crisper, more punchy bass. No smell. Handling all the power I can give them. Dual 10s, Wired down to 1 ohm paired On a 2,000 watt Tar.
