  • Quality for the $$
Style: Dual 12" Subwoofer Enclosure Subwoofer
I just hooked these up in my Dodge Magnum. Wow !! Huge difference from the 6” Bazooka tube I had. These things provide serious punch and boom for the money. Nice quality box and build. Still breaking them in but so far, so loud !! 👌🤘

  • Straight wangin son!!
Style: Dual 12" Vented Subwoofer Enclosure
BEWARE!!! They hit super HARD!!!!! BUT just be sure to keep the gain on your amp turned DOWN for the first 10-ish hours of playtime on them, and once they’re broken in, they can handle alotttt of power. And they sound stupid good considering the cost! The box is built very very well also. All around good product and super fast shipping 👌 ... show more

  • These bad boys Hit
Style: Dual 12" Subwoofer Enclosure Subwoofer
What can I say other than these budget bad boys smack. I put them in a 2020 GMC Terrain and added a DS 18 candy 1800 watt amp. Gains on amp 1/2 way and no bass boost and they knock. Old Gen X bass head from the DJ Magic Mike days so I know a little about bass. Buy them you won’t be disappointed.

  • Absolutely AMAZING!
Style: Dual 12" Vented Subwoofer Enclosure
For starters, this box was reasonably priced at $229. However, I opted to buy "used like new" when it arrived I opened it and expected some dings or tears in the material, but this thing was absolutely flawless. It looked brand new. I chose this particular box because of its newly added port as the older ones sounded a little punchy. It's got a contoured back so it fits in my 2013 Dodge Ram perfectly flush and doesn't move around like my previous flat backed box. It was basically plug and play, as everything was already wired up internally so I didn't have to make any modifications. My amp was already pre-installed, and it is a 1000W Rockford Fosgate. I had to tone it down a little bit for the initial break in period of the speakers, I took it easy on them for about a week and let me tell you, these things POUND! 1200 watts each, and they handle the amp well. These at first by their price seemed a little bit lower end on the spectrum, but I was dead wrong. You can spend more money if you want, but the results I've gotten out of these speakers have me slack jawed. Because of the newly added Port they've done to The Terminator box, the differences are very noticeable. I've considered buying another one just to have on standby should I ever blow them. But that seems doubtful as I've run them pretty hard. Couldn't be more pleased with these, and I got almost $100 off for buying used like new. Way to go MTX for upping your game! By the way little side note, got it delivered in one day, so Amazon gets a shout out as well 🤘 ... show more

  • Subs are awesome. Amp too small.
Style: Dual 12" Subwoofer Enclosure + Amplifier...
The subs are awesome, the box is smaller than I was expecting and was able to push all the way up against the back seat still leaving me with most of my trunk. The seal on the box is really good as well, pushing in one sub cone makes the other push out, that is a good seal. Nice to know MTX is still making quality stuff after all these years. The MTX amp that comes with this is so tiny and not enough to correctly power two 12" subwoofers. Just order the subs alone and get the Blaupunkt AMP3000D also on Amazon instead. It easily powers the subs without having to crank the bass boost and gain all he way up. If this combo does not thump your head-unit may have a weak pre-amp signal. I had this problem and fixed with this item from Amazon, Recoil LOCD Active 2-Channel Line Output Converter Line Driver 2-in-1, 10V Line Output Signal with Auto Sense Remote Turn-on. It cleaned up and boosted the pre-amp signal. All together the subs are BOOMING. ... show more

  • Yooo MTX, Where's the quality control!?
Style: Dual 12" Subwoofer Enclosure Subwoofer
The Subs look awesome, the box is beautiful and the price is nice. I installed these subs with a Hifonics Zeus Gamma 1200.1D which puts out about 450w rms at @ 2ohms. With the gain bareley on for my ritual 2 week break in period the subs seemed to bump harder than they are suppose too. I double checked everything: breakers, wiring, batteries, ect.... Low and behold the problem is the ohm load. the ohm load determines how much power the amp puts out. in this case as you can see from the pic we're getting close to the 1 ohm mark(1.6). which means the subs are getting more power than i intended from the amp i selected. Closer to 550w instead of the 450w thats needed. If i left the set-up the way it was the speakers would have blown for sure in a day or 2. maybe i'll keep them an get a smaller amp that puts out about 500w at 1ohm or keep the box and replace the subs with 2ohm dvc subs wired in series-parallel for a 2 ohm final load. either way its more time and money than i wanted to invest in a budget build for my daily driver. i got talked into buying these subs by a friend that swears by MTX. He's an idiot & MTX are jerks for not checking these things. if you tell us the ohm load is 1.6 from the start we can plan a build that allows for that. but instead i got 8ga pwr/gnd when it should be 4ga and the subs pulling a 1ohm load instead of 2ohms. Thanks for nothing MTX this is the last dollar you will ever get from me or anyone i know...... Update 9/25/23: I've decided to keep the subs and the box. As for the subs, I ordered a ported box for more ventilation and seperate terminals for each speaker since they are SVC I don't have many options. Separately they should be 4ohms or close to it and I can have a solid month to break them in before wiring to 2ohms for more power. After I break them in it won't matter if the multimeter says 1.6 ohms because at that point they can handle the power. Just so you know I always overpower the amps in my build by 25% so the amp doesn't have to work as hard to make the RMS payload. For example if I have 2-12" 2 ohm DVC subs that need 500w RMS each that's 1000w RMS. I get an amp that puts out about 1250w certified at a 2 ohms. As for the box, its really purrty so I'll use it in another build later on down the line. Shout out to Bid D Wiz @ Williston Audio Labs on youtube.
