  • Amazing for the price
Style: Dual 12" Subwoofer Enclosure Subwoofer
Ran these MTX dual 12s in my 2006 Mustang powered by an Alpine S A60M and they hit hard for the price. Good low end punch without sounding muddy, and they handled power well as long as they were tuned correctly. I’ve since moved them over to my Silverado with a different amp and they’re still going strong. For a budget friendly setup they perform really well and hold up over time. Definitely a solid option if you want strong bass without spending a ton. ... show more

  • SOUNDS RAD
Style: Dual 12" Subwoofer Enclosure Subwoofer
For the price these hit hard. I was skeptical cause of the cheap price but they are amazing. I got lucky, I caught these and the boss amp/wiring kit on a really good sale. I got everything needed for $350 then went to Best Buy where they installed them THE SAME DAY I got them for $149. So from start to finish $600 for everything done, is nuts. Highly recommend. If your dash kit is too expensive or you don’t have the money for a head unit, just buy a Line Output Converter which allows you to connect your subs and amp to your stock radio. That’s what I did, and I use a Bluetooth transmitter and they hit hard and sound good. If you’re on a budget then go with these and the boss amp, and boss wiring kit. Call your local Best Buy set up appointment and boom. DONE ... show more

  • Awesome subs
Style: Dual 12" Subwoofer Enclosure Subwoofer
This easily the smartest and best way I have ever spent 185 bucks! I have a 1500 watt amp and the subs knockkkkkk. Your not finding dbl 12s for anything near this price that hit like these do! I highly advise ppl to buy these but just make sure you have the right amp and tune your amp accordingly

  • These bad boys Hit
Style: Dual 12" Subwoofer Enclosure Subwoofer
What can I say other than these budget bad boys smack. I put them in a 2020 GMC Terrain and added a DS 18 candy 1800 watt amp. Gains on amp 1/2 way and no bass boost and they knock. Old Gen X bass head from the DJ Magic Mike days so I know a little about bass. Buy them you won’t be disappointed.

  • Great for the Price
Style: Dual 12" Subwoofer Enclosure Subwoofer
Brandon I bought these subs due to a tight budget, and let me tell you I am not disappointed. First off, don't buy the amp package it comes with because the amp is garbage. The subs came in beautiful shape, and the overall design looks awesome sitting in the trunk. I power them with the Boss Armor 1500 watt mono lock amp (1500 peak, 700rms) and it is more than enough to power these to their full potential. The bass is enough to make it difficult to see out of the rear view mirror (I drive a 96 chevy lumina) and you can feel the bass vibrate the seats and your body, strangely enough I can feel it in my hair too lol. For the price, you can't go wrong and these will deliver more than any other sub at this price range. They do however struggle with higher bass notes, as well as the really low notes. But a majority of the songs I listen to are hip hop, and about 7 out of 10 make these subs slam. It isn't overpowering, and it isn't too quiet, it's a great mix. Don't expect these to rattle your teeth and make mirrors fall off, but you can definitely rattle the hell out of the trunk which turns heads. If you're on a budget and want the best subs you can get for under $150, definitely consider these when you make your final decision! ... show more

  • Clean, Powerful
Style: Dual 12" Subwoofer Enclosure Subwoofer
Just got them today. They hit very clean and hard without using bass boost. I was not expecting them to sound this good. Its also more compact than I thought, which is great since they still hit plenty hard for their size. Very happy with purchase.

  • Worked for about 2 hrs of play time
Style: Dual 12" Subwoofer Enclosure Subwoofer
Well good news: Sounded ok for low budget subs/ Impressed with the sound quality for what I payed for.... Bad news: One subwoofer decided that 190 watt rms was too much and decided to blow a voice coil after about two hours total play time... never turned it up all the way either!!! One sub still works but just sounds like crap with the other bad sub in the box, gonna try and sell the individual sub and and the box if they wont replace the bad sub.... I had it hooked to a 720 watt crossfire on one channel, and this box is bridged with only one terminal at 2 ohms, also this amp is 2 ohm stable at 380 watt rms on one channel (but considering the level of play i doubt it was receiving all 380 watts to both subs) Worst part: I loved MTX and always had their subs since the old old old thunder series in the early 90's when I was just a teenager... now it seems that everytime I buy a sub from the company it never ends well, gonna be the first time I try their customer service through amazon, I will keep it posted on results when I have time New addition: MTX and the distributor were very quick with responding and gave a full refund, which was very nice and professional, they were so nice I never actually had to talk to them by phone! Excellent service, maybe this is why ZI stick with the known brands (PS: my math up top was wrong each terminal gets half of the 720 watts for a total of 360 not 380 oops) ... show more

  • Awesome sealed enclosure 12's!
Style: Dual 12" Subwoofer Enclosure Subwoofer
The media could not be loaded. Installed these with a Stinger 700watt monoblock amp into the back a W210 Mercedes Wagon and they sound awesome for the price (or any price to be honest) Yea, ported boxes make more bass this is true, but sometimes I do not like overbass to the point it drowns everything else out so these fit the 'crisp bass' need perfectly! I ended up buying these along with a single 12" in a ported box with the intention of only keeping one, and so far these are in the lead. For electronic music or even metal with tight bass, these absolutely round out the system perfectly. I am not even fully broken in on these yet and they are meeting my needs wonderfully. A few decades ago a setup like this would have cost x4 the price easily, sometimes I think we take for granted how nice of a car audio system you can build today on a budget. Only downfall to them to be honest for me is the speaker ports are on the back, so when I set them to fire upright as I like to do in a wagon, you have to be careful how you place them as to not pull the speaker wires out. 9/10 Overall 10/10 Value ... show more
