Description

Skar Audio introduces the SDR-2X12D4 Dual 12-inch loaded Vented subwoofer enclosure to cater to the audiophile who wants a competition grade system in their Vehicle without all of the headache involved with designing it from the ground up. This loaded enclosure features two of our extremely popular SDR-12 D4 1, 200 Watt Max power subwoofers which combined come in at 2, 400 watts Max power for the pair. The subwoofers come pre-loaded and wired up inside of this custom dual 12" Ported enclosure, which features a unique kerf middle port and split chamber woofer design, allowing for extreme levels of bass output. Furthermore, the enclosure is finished in premium grade black carpet for a sleek appearance and features the Skar Audio logo in white on the top surface of the box. This enclosure was engineered by Skar Audio specifically for the subwoofers that are loaded in it, ensuring perfect sound and compatibility. Every subwoofer is different, and it is so critical when buying subwoofers to ensure that the subwoofers and enclosure are an ideal match, or you will lose sound quality and output. With this loaded Subwoofer Enclosure model, All of those concerns are eliminated, making it easier than ever to add powerful aftermarket bass to your vehicle. The dual 4 ohm subwoofers are wired up inside of the enclosure so that the final Impedance Load is configured for 1-ohm at the terminals (one terminal cup). peak power: 2, 400 watts, RMS power: 1, 200 watts. This setup JAMS HARDCORE! Best slam for the buck!! Ive been out of the car audio world for 14 years or so, and wanted to add some bass to my car and a friend reccomended Skar to me. I was just looking for something moderate and I got to say these subs beat my expectations ten-fold. Back years ago when I was into car systems, sealed boxes were the only way to go and I would have never thought ported could slam as hard as these do, they jar my car on the lows and are very loud on higher notes. I had to add two more screws to my licence plate because it makes the trunk lid viberate so strong, they are *seriously* impressive. The amp is nice and powerful, has a selectable 6/12db bass eq, lp and ss filters and includes a bass remote. The system arrived a week earlier than estimated, and they were fortunately unharmed during shipping via fed ex. Nice plus is that the install kit included is the oxygen-free copper set and even included zip ties. They look geat in my car, and the weight of the box keeps them from sliding around so I can leave them unsecured and remove them if I need extra trunk room or to get to the spare tire. I am sold on Skar products, 5 stars from me and I will reccomend them to anyone looking for solid subs from now on. In the future im planning on replacing the rest of my cars speakers with Skar 4ohm 3-ways since my car has a factory amp and already uses 4-ohm drivers. 😎👍 ... show more

WoW where do I start these speakers are awesome big bass man. My whole SUV rattles feeling the bass in your chest had them for a couple months and they still hitting hard hooked it up to a 1200 skar amp..

First off, these showed up promptly with no hiccups. My initial impression was that everything seems to be of high quality, the box is really nice and the wiring kit is nicer than a lot I've worked with, probably one of the best ones I've used. A lot of cheap kits claim to be 4 gauge and it's 6 or 8 gauge wire inside a enormous insulator, this was not the case, the wiring is also very flexible which indicates high quality and makes for less hassle when it comes to running the cable. Not gunna lie, when I pulled the amp out of the box and saw how little it was my heart kinda sank, but as soon as it was all hooked up and running it was quickly bounced back into place. These things hit SO HARD and sound SO CLEAN. I'm 100 percent satisfied after running them for 3-4 hours. Something to keep in mind is the box is enormous, it takes up 80 percent of my 08 tsx trunk, the box is about 20% larger than I expected, but it's about 30% louder than I expected it to be, so it still comes out on top. I might swap to 1 12" evl in the future, but as someone who has owned 10 or so "budget" bass setups this setup is incredible for the value. No sticker though! Amazing!! Very premium quality, I found out that they take from a premium brand and put their name on it . I paid 300 just for installation BMW X5., I tried to install it myself, but it was a headache.
