Got the saw today and put it all together. Fired up on the fourth pull. I let it warm up and made sure bar had some oil before putting it to use. Ripped through 20" wet oak logs like butter. This saw is an absolute beast. The product manual seems complete and well done but setup instructions would be nice. At first was only able to get it running 1/3 times, but that’s secondary to the chain and bar mismatch. Seems some of the links are way bigger that the “.050 bar gauge and won’t fit - like somehow they mixed .063 with what should have all been .050 Now for the starting. The choke does not stay in the second position after the full choke initial kick over, if it decides to fire at all. This makes it tough not to flood very quickly, leading to frustration for obvious reasons. The one time I did get it running the chain wouldn’t move due to the issue mentioned above. Filed the links that were too wide to fit the bar guide slot so that was resolved (sorta) but then of course, it wouldn’t start. Anyhow, all that aside - I worked thru the kinks and have gone thru many a cut much faster than the smaller saws. I may still get a Husqvarna 595 instead - along with quality control and reliability- however, for now, once this darn thing gets running (and don’t shut it off unless you plan to restart hot, or way later) it’s a beast. ... show more

    • I used this saw yesterday for the first time worked great.
Powerful saw I put my sawmill on it yesterday it preformed great. It can be a little finicky starting but I think I have that iron out. Wagners Chainsaws were great people had a little mix-up in initial shipping but Chris made it right.
