I put this into my ROG Ally with an extender that allows a 2280 drive. Baby, it's incredible. That handheld's operating system experience is very responsive. Although the hardware specs are pretty decent for that handheld PC, this NVME really topped it off. Virtually every game I own or emulate is on this thing, and I still have over 2 terabytes left. I bought a heatsink for good measure, and it's temperature is reasonable and stable. It's been 4+ months now with zero issues. I'm very happy with this purchase. First drive worked as intended for a few months then one day just stopped working. I had purchased because my old HDD had gone out and I had already lost all that data so this disk going out was not the cause of any meaningful data loss, which would be on me anyway as you should always back up. I went through their RMA and they were awesome and sent me a replacement drive once they received the original drive. ... show more

I got this to upgrade a new laptop that simply didn't have enough storage. It was fast and easy to install it in my Dell laptop, fortunately - just open the 8 screws, pull off the lid, and swap it out. Some systems might be harder. Getting it working was a little harder, as I had to manually reinstall Windows and put my software on. If I was migrating from an old system to a new one, I'd have done a lot of backups, but this was nice and easy. Performance is great. Haven't had any issues with all that space; it just runs and doesn't complain. I've had a few SP drives before and these always work well. No regrets! ... show more
