    • Wow! So much power for a cheap price.
I bought this sprecifically to deal with a dog hair issue and it is working great. Vacuum seems sturdy with great suction. I hae vacuumed my whole house now 3 times nad just got done vacuuming my 2 dogs with a pet vroomer and it still has lots of suction power. Here is the review I wrote for the pet grooming since it is the real reason for me buying this. I love this thing! I have 3 dogs. A 103 lb. Great Pyrenees (20 lbs hair), a minuture Australian Shepard (50% hair) and Terrier mix (he has short course hair. Yes I think I am crazy too and all of the hair bout had me in a straight jacket. I attached this to a ShopVac I also bought on Amazon and I sucked the loose hair off my two fluffy dogs like a girlfriend in heat! I have been trying everything to find a solution to all of this hair problem and I have finally done it. The shedding comb pulled out all of the extra hair time after time. Once the comb gets full you push a button that turns the teeth toward the hose and the vacuum sucks ti right in. The upholstery comb worked so much better that the original vacuum tool because it has plastic nubs with open sections between the nubs, that grab the hair but the vacuum suction doesn't cause it to "stick" to the cushions. I am truly giddy with how well this works. I also suggest the Shop Vac too because with this tool and the ShopVac I spent $80. My son spent $2500 on a Rainbow and my setup works just as well and I can use this tool to actually comb the hair away before it gets on the floors now. PS with the below ShopVac I did not have to use the hose or adapter that came with this groomer kit so it had a great seal and stayed on. Pro- Compact but powerful Full size performance in a manageable size. Wet-Dry. Multiple filter options. Con- Kind of loud. No drain for water. This is my second one. When I saw it on sale I jumped on it. The old one is at least 10 years old and has held up well. We use it to detail our vehicles, around the shop, even picking up spills in the house. Once the AC drain clogged and we had plenty of suction to clear it. The multi filters mean you are not spreading dust, bagging is the best way to go, the main filter stays clean. When detailing a car, you can really use the wet vac on your carpet and cloth seats. We spray distilled water with diluted cleaners, brush, then use the wet vacuum to pull the water out. Seats too. We got a second hose, and added it to the other. So when working on vehicles the canister is able to be out of the way, and not banging up against the car door. Spectacular product. The only thing is the holder for the attachments is directly under the exhaust and getting all the attachments to stay in only 4 slots is a bit tricky otherwise cant beat it as its ShopVac brand name

    • Reasonable price, but with some significant flaws
For the price it's not a bad wet/dry, but there were several things that demonstrated the relatively low quality of this vacuum. First, during assembly, I found the plastic tool holder wouldn't stay in place. I would have had to super glue it to get it to stay where it is supposed to be installed. Second, the prongs on which you wrap the power cord are partially in line with the blower nozzle which makes it awkward to wrap it up in an orderly way. Third, when it doesn't have an attachment connected to the hose, the unit emits and ear-piercing whistle. I had to continuously place my thumb partly over the nozzle to stop the whistle. Overall, for the money, it looks nice, has a lot of power, and gets the job done, but I really wanted something a bit quieter with a more thoughtful design. ... show more
