I was skeptical about purchasing a pool pad because the material is only felt. After opening the package and laying it out on the ground, I am impressed. No the felt material is not thick but not thin. It is thick enough to serve its purpose. I really like it. It makes the bottom of the pool softer to walk on and doesn't create lumps, we use sand under our pool. I cant wait to put together my landscaping around the outside of the pool now.

Easiest pool setup EVER!!! It only took my husband and I a little under two hours, start to finish, to setup our pool. We simply opened to liner, rolled it out, positioned it exactly how we wanted it on our 20x20 parking pad, and then setup our above ground pool. The pool pad liner instructions say to let it set out for 24 hours before setting up your pool; however, we have 3 boxers that see everything in the yard as a toy so we didn’t wait. We had ZERO issues. Directly on concrete. ✅ We sprayed out the concrete really well and setup the pool pad liner on the concrete with nothing else on it. Concrete - Pool Pad Liner - Pool. I know I need to see this in someone’s comment and never found it. I hope this helps someone else. BUY THIS PAD!!!! It is worth the money. You will think it is a cheap be of material and you wasted you money. Not true. My pad is a 20” round and out pool is 18” round. I highly recommend going with a larger size. We use the extra as a rug to clean our feet. lol It was the perfect size. Perfect pad. Easiest installation.

We purchased this product with the anticipation of adding extra padding under our pool. While it is thinner than we expected, the material is similar to felt rather than your typical plastic tarp, I do enjoy that several shapes and sizes were offered allowing us purchase the exact size of our pool. Like any tarp, this was easy to install and so far has proven to be an effective layer of protection under the lining. We will have to wait until we tear the pool down in order to determine how it’s held up. If necessary, we will order again.
