Great Tool!! Works as advertised and simple to use! I usually sharpen my blades manually, but I decided to take a chance and give this cordless a try. I very satisfied with the results. It seems to be well built. Time will tell.

BLUF- It did the job. Quality of tool and included items are fine. Would not say it is built for heavy use. Worth the price. Nice looking tool, does not appear to be cheap. Bought this to sharpen very small robot mower blades, not the razor blade ones but real mower blades from a Lymow One mower, There is a learning curve but this tool will do the job. To be clear on what this is. Basically it is a knock-off Dremel that someone designed a sharpening jig for. If I had to guess it does spin faster (RPM) than a Dremel. There really is no jig sharpener out there for such small blades so you need to be careful but this thing did the job good enough, Do not love the wing nut used to tighten the plastic angle slide, you really need to clamp it down so it won't move, not sure how long it will last. Also because the blades I am sharpening are so small the wing nut got it the way. The included sharpening bits are of good quality but I can see them wearing out pretty fast if you use them alot, I would buy a extra set to be safe. Included a picture of a normal blade ( not sharpened by this tool) and the small ones I am using this on for comparison. I have no clue how hard it would be to sharpen a normal mower blade, I feel it would probably work? I will never use it for that though, there are much better options available. But in a pinch or if you do not sharpen your blades often this would be Ok I suppose.

First time user. I charged the unit. Tested on some old spare blades. Then I used it to sharpen the 3 blades on a D160 John Deere riding mower. Took a little to get the angle to get the blades. I didn't have to remove them from the mower and have a real good, sharpened edge. I also sharpened 3 spare blades on one charge. The grass will be cut instead of blunt force whack!

Easy to use. I had it adjusted in no time to sharpen a pair of snippers I use to trim bushes and trees, and it worked great! Next is my lawnmower blade, but the way it worked on the snippers, I have no doubt how it will work on the lawnmower blade. You can get it settled in just right to match the angle of the blade, and then just slide it slowly along the edge. Sharpens like a champ! And your instructions are great! Thanks so much!

I would say this is a pretty good idea but as far as reliability, I would say pretty good also but the stones just don’t last long enough. This is after just sharpening one blade and is not even really sharp yet and went through one full charge just on one end of the blade, not both sides very disappointed, maybe electrical would be the way to go and to stock up on some sharpening stones or go with titanium stones not quite sure if it’s worth it but sharpens it a lot better than I was doing with a file. I’ll give it that and less time-consuming but pre-prepare yourself for recharging these batteries and give you a whole day to get a set of three of them done because on my zero turn lawnmower there are three blades. I think I’ll just pay the guy at the shop to sharpen my blaze while I’m in town.
