Should have listened to other reviewer. He said it wasn't a minolta. He is right! Very poor quality camera. Do not waste your money. Very slow shutter speed, so slow that you end up with a fuzzy picture. I'm returning it, very disappointed. I have a Nikon D80, just wanted a little compact camera so I didn't have to take my big Nikon in situations where I might lose it. This was not the camera. ... show more

Minolta's name was bought and is being licensed out. This camera was not built by Minolta, it was not designed by Minolta. It's a cheaply built rebranded generic Chinese junk camera. Look at the 'lens.' Yeah it's not a lens. You see that little tiny piece of glass at the center of the thing they're passing off as a lens? Yeah that's your real 'lens.' That little 2mm hole is your lens and that means your image sensor is tiny. Look at the camera on your cell phone, chances are it's better. If you search for 4k camera you'll find dozens of cameras that look almost identical to this bad boy. It's not a camera you want to rely on. The photo quality is meh, the build quality is unimpressive and brittle feeling plastic. A better move would be to find a lightly used camera made by a real camera company. It'll cost you about the same (or less) and be vastly superior to this thing in every way. I bought my MND50 second hand for under $20. I over paid. I plan to tear it down and remove the IR filter so I can use this as a toy camera for taking weird Infrared photos... ... show more

It takes wonderful video in 4K, but the back screen is easy to scuff so protect it as you would a smartphone screen. Very professional design and interface. You can manually change the iso or go with the dial and pick a pre-programmed setup.

This camera has a super slow working Zoom and takes horrible blurry pics. 48mp no way! Waste of time & money buying this camera. Was so looking forward to it, too. Now I have to go clear across town on the bus to return it to an Amazon Style because the option to return it to the Whole Foods place that is closer is "not available" ! I should have known better for this price saying it's "48mp" -yeah right. ... show more

I ordered this because I thought it would be better than my 10 year-old canon point and shoot. Wrong! The shutter is slow, the zoom takes so long to work that your picture is gone before you can take it. I took 8 practice pics and only 1 was decent. It is just poor quality and not Minolta quality. They may be using the name, but they certainly aren’t providing the quality along with it. Please save yourself the trouble of returning this camera and keep looking! Pay a bit more and buy a decent camera. ... show more
