  • Really worth it!!!
Color: White Style: with HEPA Empty Base
I really like this vacuum. It’s very light, easy to handle, gets in all the corners and under all the furniture as it can lay flat on the ground. Even though it’s so thin, it actually has a lot of suction power. Battery lasts like 15min but that is enough for what I want it, as I use it for quick vacuums in the kitchen and foyer, which are the most traffic areas (As I have another big vacuum steamer for deep cleaning). I’m actually thinking about buying another one for my upstairs. And love the auto empty dock! Sooo smart and functional. ... show more

  • My new favorite tool My new favorite tool
Color: White Style: with HEPA Empty Base
Ok, I know that sounds like a dumb title, but hear me out… I had an old corded Shark that lasted through a decade of HEAVY cat hair and litter mess from two cats (one is a THICK haired cat who sheds like a Siberian Husky) before finally cleaning it’s last litter mat. So I looked for a new Shark, cause that’s durability in my opinion. Wanted new tech. Was tired of covering the house in dust every time I had to empty the vacuum. Saw this and said “screw it. It’s a Shark, it can’t be that bad….” Fellow shoppers and pet parents… This thing is wild. It has cut down on my need for dusting by near 90%. Traps everything in that little self empty bin and filters the crap out of the air that comes out of it when it auto empties. It makes me WANT to vacuum because it’s that easy to use and fast! Only have to empty the self-empty bin like once every week to week and a half, so that’s great! Usually just do it on trash day! The little bin on the vacuum itself gets a little plugged with all the cat hair at times, but nothing that a whack or two on the bin with the palm of your hand can’t handle. And there’s always the option of just emptying the bin manually. The battery life could be better but the charge time isn’t bad and I see that Shark does sell extra batteries and a charging sleeve for them too, so that’s easily remediable. This thing gets under anything that has at least 2” floor clearance and gets EVERYTHING off the floors. Super lightweight so it moves quick & is agile enough to go around corners even under furniture. The attachments are nice, but I’d kill for a long extender bar to make it so I can reach the floor corners with the corner tool without sitting or bending. Love the vacuum. Use it DAILY. Just would love a few more attachments! ... show more

  • Lightweight But Horrible in Any Other Way
Color: White Style: with HEPA Empty Base
I got this for my 625 sq. ft apartment. Carpet is only on about half that (bedroom and tiny hallway) and is a low pile. From the getgo, I was disappointed in it. It would only pick up about half of the hair on my carpet, and the so-called "no hair wrap" fins were getting overloaded. I thought that it was just because my carpet was already a mess so I just needed to give the vacuum time to get through all of the layers, since it's not meant for deep cleaning. But it wouldn't even pick up debris from my tile floors. I would vacuum and then have to sweep after it to get the stuff it wouldn't suck up. Hair, crumbs, little paper bits, things that should've been in the vacuum's wheelhouse but weren't. When the vacuum does suck up something, the hose to the dust bin is so small that most things can't fit in it. Popcorn gets stuck and has to be fished out with a snake tool. I have never experienced a vacuum that was so picky and finicky about what it can or can't actually pick up and dispose of. The self-emptying emptying system is also worthless. It is loud when it empties into the charging base, but it doesn't actually empty. It gets stuck halfway between the vacuum and the charging base, so that when you pick up the vacuum the next time, it dumps everything back onto the floor. The entry point for the debris is even more finicky about what it does and doesn't accept than the hose size of the vacuum. Manually emptying out the vacuum and turning off the self-emptying feature is just easier and saves yourself from a lot of headache. A day or two after I started to use it, the vacuum started to make noises like it was clogged. But I couldn't find anything lodged or any reason what would be causing it. This was just regular vacuuming on carpet for hair. It sounded quiet right out of the box, but then the sound changed. When it's actually clogged (which happens a lot), it'll make a high-pitched squealing/whistling noise before turning itself off. The fact that it can be taken apart and made into a hand vacuum is handy. But it means nothing since the vacuum doesn't actually function. I tried to use it to vacuum out my car and the mats, but it left half the stuff behind. I'm pretty sure giving the mats a thorough shake did more good than the vacuum did. I had to basically press the brush (and then the bare vacuum tube when I got frustrated by the brush) right on top of the crumbs for it to do anything. Speaking of the brush and what I am assuming is a corner/edge tool, there's literally nowhere to put one of them. The charging base only has a slot for one, and then I have the other one free to the side of the slot. Every time I move the vacuum, the free-floating attachment falls off the base. I guess they assume one will just be permanently attached to the vacuum, even though the vacuum can't be fully re-assembled with one of them in? Taking the vacuum apart to transition from vacuum to hand vacuum and back again goes smoothly. None of the buttons have gotten stuck on me or anything, though they can be a bit...fun to remember where they are each time. And the vacuum can't stand freely when put altogether. The head can stand on its own, but not when the battery and handle compartment are attached. I don't know if this is common with wireless vacuums, but it is surprisingly annoying to deal with. If you have to shimmy a piece of furniture out of the way, you have to account for the fact that your vacuum might not get a good grip on the thing you leaned it on and it'll fall to the floor. The final nail in the vacuum's coffin was when I tried to clean my mattress by sprinkling baking soda on it and letting it sit for most of the day. I tried to vacuum it, and my vacuum just up and died. Somehow it must've gotten into an important bit of the vacuum, despite me using it normally, and now my vacuum is perpetually acting like it's clogged. The charging base takes as much real estate as a regular upright vacuum does, so you save no space when getting this one. And it takes up an outlet essentially 24/7 which a regular vacuum doesn't. The only two good points in this vacuum is that it is lightweight, feels like nothing when you carry it or when you are using it, and that the transitioning is effortless. You can't do anything once you get to where you need to vacuum and turn it into a hand vacuum, but the process goes great nonetheless. I don't think this vacuum is worth trying to get it fixed. Already have a new one in my cart for my next paycheck. Do yourself a favor and buy whatever other vacuum you are looking at. This one ain't it. I did all of the research and knew it was going to be best for smaller spaces and thought it was the one. But it wasn't. ... show more

  • This is perfect for us!
Color: White Style: with HEPA Empty Base
I have had this vacuum for a few weeks now, and I LOVE IT. I have a lab that sheds, and this does the job for the house. I do need to set it on the dock to clean out two or three times during my vacuuming of the house, but I am so pleased with how lightweight and maneuverable it is. The suction is not as strong as a full size vacuum, but that is to be expected. The collection cup does not hold a month of debris for our house, but it's still great for 2-3 weeks. I had one time where the vacuum did what someone else had reviewed and said theirs turned off and wouldn't stay on, but some simple troubleshooting showed that my little tank was full and there was a clog. Listen to the sounds of the vacuum and you'll be able to tell when you need to set it on the dock or just empty the cup into the trash. ... show more

  • Small
Color: White Style: with HEPA Empty Base
We tried out a few other cordless options and this was our favorite! Pros: -It is very light and easy to maneuver! Kids don’t have a problem using it! -Small but mighty! It holds its own really well! -We have a golden retriever and it gets all the hairs we can’t even see! We use it every day and it is always full, so we know it’s doing its job. -Extremely easy to empty! Cons: -The battery life is about 15 min. I can do my entire 1,280 sq ft house (aside from bedrooms) in this amount of time. -When it gets clogged it automatically shuts off. (Though I do appreciate this because then I’m not uselessly thinking I’m vacuuming.) -I’ve found that the vacuum does best going forward versus backwards. Sometimes when pulling the vacuum back bigger crumbs will get pulled back with it rather than getting sucked up. -The filter (on the wand) is small and it fills up quickly. With our dog hair we sometimes have to empty it twice within one session. -The self empty works well UNLESS its dog hair. We just empty the wand before attaching it back to the base so the system doesn’t fill up too quickly or get clogged. ... show more

  • It's ok
Color: White Style: with HEPA Empty Base
I'm probably in the minority here, but I'm not all that impressed with this stick vac. I love that it empties itself; however, it doesn't always empty completely. Often times after emptying, there is hair and dirt hanging out of the dirt holder and running the empty feature again does not do the trick. The dirt holder is also pretty small, so you will want to keep that in mind. It does pick up dirt and debris pretty well, so no complaints there. It does not hold a charge for very long, though. I now have to break up my sweeping areas into sections to allow time for it to recharge which delays my cleaning time. You will also want to consider the handle - it is straight and does not have a "loop" or "hole" for you to grab. It feels like it will slip out of your hand easily - it hasn't for me yet, but that it the feeling I have when using this. I thought I could deal with these negatives and did not return it, but I regret that now. Wish I had just bought the Shark stick vac I had prior to this. But because of the price i will use it til it dies. :) ... show more

Color: White Style: with HEPA Empty Base
I keep it in the upstairs hallway. It’s light, easy, and convenient to use. I can clean the stairs with ease as well as the upstairs bedrooms and bathrooms which are mostly carpet. I can then take it downstairs for a quick cleaning of the tile in the kitchen and family rooms. My family enjoys using it as well. With 5 people in the house I use it almost every day. I like the emptying feature and I dump it probably every other week on trash day. ... show more

  • So impressed with this cordless vacuum
Color: White Style: with HEPA Empty Base
I have a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Maine Coon cat, lots and lots of fuzz bunnies in my house. Needless to say, i need to vacuum or swiffer every day to keep up with the tumblers. I have tile flooring with rugs in each room and it works great for the quick pick up. As for a serious weekly cleaning I think I'll stick with my heavy duty corded vacuum. But for the daily quick vacuum this is definately my recommened go to cordless. Great suction light weight and I was pleasently surprised at the amount of fluff the wand cup holds. I did have to empty the wand cup manually before the base would suck the rest out. But with 2 extra large breed double coated pets my amount of fluff is over the top, I should have emptied the cup at least once during my run through the house. FYI my household sq ft is 1982 ... show more
