My dog an elder GSD had an accident on this area rug. The shark machine did wonders for it. I am so glad I bought it. Instructions are easy to follow and the machine easy to clean. The suction is the best I’ve experienced I do recommend for rugs or upholstered furniture.

The media could not be loaded. This Ninja Upholstery Cleaner works like magic. I honestly can’t believe how well it cleaned my white couch, my rugs, and even the deep-set stains on my king-size headboard that have been there for years. The suction is powerful, and although it’s a bit noisy, that makes sense considering the strength of the machine. The only issue.. and it’s a big one.. is that my unit leaks at the hose. I’m currently working with Shark Tech Support to figure out what’s going on. Based on the presentation when it arrived, I strongly believe the unit I received may have been used and returned. Some of the cord wrapping and packaging were just not factory-fresh, and you could tell something was off. I really hope they can resolve it because the performance is genuinely impressive. But I won’t be able to keep the machine if the hose leakage continues. If it weren’t for that issue, this cleaner would easily be a 5-star product ... show more

I love this carpet cleaner. I have an old dog that is 99.9% potty trained. Wee went to visit relatives who have two female dogs for a few weeks and I had to put him in diapers because he was marking all over the place. Well he tried marking when he came home and did it twice on my new carpet. The Shark carpet cleaner has very good suction and the mix that is used smells really good. I cleaned the spots when they were fresh and there is no lingering odor. I've gotten my nose in the carpet to make sure and it smells like the Shark cleaning solution which smells great. ... show more

    • Very unclear as to how much stain remover are you HAVE have to use each time.
I have read good reviews, but I have not used this yet. I feel like they’re making it purposely unclear as to how much cleaner I’m going to have to use for each use. If I have a small job, do I have to fill the whole tank? They just talk about “fill lines” but not actual ounces that would need to be used. And they make it very clear that you can only use their cleaners. It looks like a good product, but I feel like I’m being tricked. Could somebody help me out? Could somebody tell me if you use other cleaners in this and if it works fine? ... show more

Best purchase of my life. With two dogs and two kids, I use this at least a few times a week. Everything from the carpet to the couches. I have yet to find a stain that I can’t get out.
