This thing sucks. The app is clunky. The thing gets stuck on nothing and just stops. At the same time, it will just run over anything and everything and tear stuff up. A Roomba actually uses its cameras and sensors to avoid running over things. The shark’s mapping is also awful. I don’t have anything positive to say about this dumb thing. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I love love love my shark vacc mop . I have had my regular shark vacuum for about 6yrs , I had two, one for my kitchen living room open area. The other for my bedroom that is huge and a step down from the rest of house. So just bought me the vacc mop , I love it , always buy shark no need for other. Great investment. Noe I will give my vacc to my daughter and the other to my mother so I can get me another vacc mop for bedroom. Just maintain as asked and will last a very long time. Easy to setup, connected quickly to WiFi , the schedule is perfect , starts up everyday at 8am vacuuming and mopping my house in under 2hrs. I have 3 schnauzer, they don’t she’d much but they bring in dirt and grass from outside , the vacuum picks everything up. The functionality is great. 2 thumbs up…… ... show more

I’ve owned robot mop/vacuums for years from Roomba j7’s to Roborocks to now Sharks. As a group, all of these brands have come a long way since the first days of robot vacuums, so if it’s been more than a year since you’ve tried one, you’ll be really happy with how far all of them have come. That said, here’s my thoughts on this Shark I’ll begin by saying that we own many Shark cleaning products and all have been top notch. This vac/mop is no different. VACUUMING: the vacuuming is quite good. You’ll see the lovely vacuum lines on my carpet in one of the review pix. That’s a thick pile carpet too, so I’m impressed. That said, I did notice that it left behind half a potato chip and another larger bit of garbage. MOPPING: The mop on this robot is a stationary rectangular mop pad as opposed to the spinning round mop pads on, for example, the Roborock. It’s effective but not as effective as the spinning models. That said, this bot does a great job lifting its mop off the carpet when it’s vacuuming. It can also switch seamlessly from vacuum to mop. It comes with cleaning fluid but requires a lot at once. I don’t think I’ll keep buying the Shark stuff, I’ll just use what I use with our Roborock upstairs. The tanks are easy to fill and change and I love that they created a little viewing window so you can see when the water is getting low. They also have separate containers for clean vs dirty water which is what you want. MAPPING/NAVIGATION: the mapping on these bots has come such a long way. This one mapped our basement in less than 10 minutes and got everything right. You can’t create invisible walls in the app but you can make “no go zones” which you can use as a sort of wall if needed. NOISE LEVEL: all brands have gotten so much quieter over the years. This bot is no different. Even emptying the dust bin, it’s a tolerable noise level. The mopping and vacuuming is not intrusive at all. BATTERY LIFE: the battery life seems average to maybe low average. It was at 70% then mapped our basement, went back and confirmed carpeted areas, then vacuumed our deep pile carpeted movie room before it had to charge. OVERALL EASE OF SET UP AND USE: The app isn’t my favorite - it’s not as intuitive as I’d like and it doesn’t have as many options as other brands. If it weren’t for the app, I’d be much closer to giving this bot 5 stars. That said, it’s a basic app with fairly basic functions and it’s fine. Otherwise, this bot is really easy to use and set up. The instructions for initial set up are good, but then they leave you to figure out the rest in the app which, again, not the best. But they did label things and provide good on-bot instructions via stickers too. Overall this is a solid choice for the price point. ... show more
