We live on a ranch and have a corgi and toy aussie that live inside. This vacuum has been a game changer!!! The amount of hair alone that it picks up every day is enough to make another dog!!! Even after running once, I could feel the difference in our home. I will definitely be replacing it the second before it dies!!! One thing you should know. It doesn't like the bigger rocks that come off your shoes. It will "poop" out piles of gravel. The mop is great for keeping dust and little spots cleaned up but it is not for deep cleaning. Our mud room still needs a person to attend it sometimes but overall we love this thing!!!!

Will NEVER purchase another shark product again. Disconnects frequently. Stuck ALL the time, runs into items, knocking them over or knocking things off tables. literally was “stuck” on a register on the floor and quit running. Stuck on rugs. I made a schedule on the app, followed all of the instructions, and I promise I am not tech illiterate. It decided to disconnect and wait 7 hours to run. My older dog had an accident in the house, the robot did not detect what should have been an obstacle and ran through the dog poop and smeared it with the mop attachment ALL over my house, rugs, everything. Even returned to the dock with dog poop still inside. So it gets stuck on a small hvac register but runs through dog crap. Have tried finding a number for Shark customer service, Amazon is asking me to return the item. Disaster. Don’t purchase this item if you have animals.

Overall, this Shark robot vacuum and mop is just okay for the price. I already own a much less expensive off-brand robot vacuum, and in terms of vacuuming performance, this one performs similarly despite costing significantly more. In some cases the cheaper one does even better. One feature I do appreciate is the self-emptying base, which means I don’t have to empty the dust bin as often. When it empties itself, the odor neutralizer/air freshener is a nice touch. Navigation is another strong point — it handles raised floor vents and thresholds very well and doesn’t get stuck easily. Battery life has also been very good so far. The app is usable, but I don’t see an option to schedule or select multiple vacuum passes, which is something I rely on since robot vacuums often miss spots on a single pass. The mopping function is my biggest disappointment. It mostly feels like it’s just dragging a wet pad across the floor. It leaves the floors too wet, which increases drying time, and the results aren’t as good as I expected. While the robot does attempt to dry its own mop pad afterward, the fan runs for a very long time, creating a constant hum, and the pad is still damp at the end. I end up removing it and drying it manually anyway. The robot itself looks very sleek and modern, and the base has a clean, streamlined design that doesn’t look out of place in a living space. So far, it feels well-built and durable. It has handled thresholds, vents, and regular use without any issues, and nothing feels flimsy or cheaply made. In short, this is a solid vacuum with good navigation and battery life, but the mopping performance and price point make it harder to justify compared to less expensive alternatives. An important note- this vacuum is for maintenance only between cleanings. It does not replace a good stand up vacuum, a mop, and some elbow grease.

No one likes to admit when they are a bit lazy and a hoarder, and this vacuum has really helped me with those tendencies. I've named the robot Claudia (from the traitors should she ever become sentient :). My husband has a timer set 3 times a week and 20 minutes before she is going to sweep, we all have to jump up and pick up anything large or random, and as a result, I've been slowly clearing out piles of junk to help clear the path. I was shocked at how little noise it makes compared to a regular push vacuum. We haven't had any trouble with it. I think the app is a little clunky, and I really wish we could customize her responses, but that seems minuscule compared to the outstanding job this robot does at keeping my floors cleaned.

The media could not be loaded. Wow....I am so very impressed with how well this vacuum / mop robot works! First off, the mapping feature. This robot was so easy to set up right out of the box. All I had to do was put the filter in the base and and the water and cleaner.On the robot all I had to do was add the little brush and pull the plastic off of it. As far as downloading the app and setting it up to map out my house floor plan, easy as could be! You just follow the instructions, select and away it goes mapping out your house. Overall it was extremely accurate, way better than I would have anticipated. Now I haven't set up the schedule yet for how I want the robot to go around and do things on which days and whatnot but should be just as easy as it was to combine rooms and get my floor plan set exactly wIth the zones I want. Now, I will say I have had a couple of glitches but nothing that just closing the app and restarting it didn't fix. One of those it just sat thinking saying it was preparing and never moved off of it,hence the closing the app and starting again. The only other one I've had is the robot seem to get lost on its first run and thought it was in front of the dock to close out the session but couldn't find the dock because it was about 6 ft away from it . I just picked it up and put it in front of it and then it was fine . All in all, with the cleaning ability of this robot being very good and the time that it saves for me not having to do it, especially once I get the schedule set up. The quality of the product itself and the cleaning ability make this a 100% value for the money!
