  • Best Shark Vacuum I’ve Ever Owned!! Best Shark Vacuum I’ve Ever Owned!!
I own a Shark Pet Lift Away Professional Series (red/white color), have had it for at least 6-7 years and I LOVE IT! The only downside is, with 2 dogs, an Aussie/Boarder collie mix, a Boxer & long haired cat, I have to vacuum a lot + empty the canister after 1 room! Not to mention the constant cutting of the hair wrap on the brush roll-Ugh! Enter the Shark Navigator—which was on sale, with a self cleaning brush roll + a bigger canister! You guys, I vacuumed on 4/15, received the new Shark on 4/16, re-vacuumed the house & the pic included shows the amount of dirt/dust/hair left over from me vacuuming on 4/15! Check out the NO HAIR on the brush roll! I’m super impressed with this vacuum! • Downside: no lights on this model, compete design flaw on Shark’s end. I went ahead and purchased mini button lights on Amazon & stuck them on the vacuum(you can see the placement in pic), works like a charm! You can purchase them here Amazon: https://amzn.to/3gnn0b0 • Only one tool fits onboard this model, as opposed to 2 tools fitting on my previous model. I believe it’s due to space from the 3x larger canister. • A little bit heavier than my other Shark, but so much easier to maneuver, this vacuum will slide all the way down to get under furniture, tables, etc...works on hardwoods and area rugs like a dream. Has great swivel technology. Very happy with my purchase, I own a lot of Shark products and they’ve never let me down:The Shark upright cordless duo hard floor vac with self cleaning brush roll and the Shark Carpet & hard wood floor cleaner. Shark is the best product on the market for all your cleaning needs. If you have pets, you need the Shark Navigator self cleaning brush roll vacuum! The suction power is amazing + it has edge to edge cleaning power. Grab the refurb one for a great price! For those saying the cord/hose isn’t long enough, as a Shark owner, those 2 things are as long as my other vacuum. ... show more

  • Great for pet owners Great for pet owners
Amazing vacuum. Works great on cat litter and hair. Pros: Suction, cup capacity, lightweight, no cat litter kick-backs Cons: Size (sort of) I have 4 cats and a dog, meaning I need something that can pick up pet hair and cat litter. I bought this to replace a Shark Rocket that finally kicked the bucket after years of battling Great Pyrenees hair. I loved the Rocket too, but this one (Navigator Zero-M) is much more powerful and has a larger dust-cup capacity. I love that the Navigator doesn't "kick back" cat litter at you like some other vacuums do. It all goes in, even if you're cleaning up a big pile of litter an over-zealous kitty dug out of the box. Even with a bunch of heavy cat litter and hair in the cup, it doesn't lose suction. I could probably clean the whole 1200sqft house in one pass if I wanted. Suction power is adjustable via a slider in case you need a little less suck for a thin doormat or something (reminds me of a carpet height dial some other vacuums have but better). The hard floor setting keeps the brushes moving too so it can pick up debris that is stuck to the floor like mud-crusted leaf pieces. The self-cleaning bristles seem to actually be self-cleaning, too! No more hair-wrap! The only cons I can think of (that I wouldn't even have thought of if I wasn't so attached to the old Shark Rocket) are that this doesn't slide under the bed like a stick vacuum, and it's a little harder to use in stairs. But I'm sure I can fix both of this things by buying an attachment. Overall I'm super happy with this vacuum. Compared to the Shark Rocket and the Miele I've used before, this Navigator is my favorite. Plus, I bought it renewed for a great discount! ... show more

  • The vacuum for the owner of a very long haired dog!
What can I say, I have a dog that sheds foot long dark hair year round. You can take apart a vac and clean it only so many times before the hair you can't get to destroys the machine. I usually replace rollers if I can. Still, I have been going through one or two machines a year, and the $500 pet ones have not held up any better than the $50 dorm room ones. My assessment on the Shark pet, based on selling them at Lowe's for 5 years. The noise and suction are like any other. Filters are easy to get to, and cheap to replace. ROLLER DID NOT .... DID NOT GET WRAPPED IN LONG DOG HAIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This, to me, is worth the price of the machine, and the canister was full. 25' cord is not a problem for me, in my small house. I ran it for about a half hour, living room, dining room, bedroom and studio (picked up a couple of ???) . Embarrassing amount of dog hair in canister. On Amazon, it sells for $229 or $169 refurbished. Being cheap, I got the refurbished one, and it looked new. I also bought the 2 yr extended warranty because if it last that long, I will be ecstatic, and if not, I can get 100% refund, or replacement. July 2021... a few months in...... It's working great. I have only once had to remove a few strands of hair... very few. All my previous ones I would need to stop and remove the hair every time and none lasted more than 6 months. I even don't need to rake it anymore (these dogs shed constantly). I really like this machine. UP date: Ok, really super geeky here. By the end of a year, usually I go through two or more because of dogs and long hair. This year, I have had to clean the roller once, and only clogged this one up because of wood chips from carving. It shocks me that I have not had to take this apart. I give this a thumbs up. Still a 5 star product. ... show more

  • I'd give it 5 stars, but I want y'all to read this
Why is this not five stars? Because it falls over. If you use the hose and attachments, this vacuum will fall over. Aside from that, awesome vacuum. I bought this bad boy years ago and it still works like the first time I used it. It's light and has a convenient handle to move it around the home easily. It does very well on hard surfaces and carpet. It works on rugs. It's noise level doesn't offend my cats. I've never had to take it apart to clean hair out of it, and it shows no sign of needing me to. I only need to pass over any spot once to get everything that would bother me. As someone who wanders around the house barefoot, I can feel the difference. This vacuum rocks. It takes me no time to finish vacuuming the whole apartment. I like this way more than my parent's dyson because it's better at picking up debris, is quieter, and is significantly lighter (granted, their vacuum is an older model, but I swear it's the heaviest mfer I've had to deal with, even as an adult). The price is super reasonable. When I got out of college, I couldn't imagine spending 300 bucks on a new vacuum, so I went with this one instead. This ol bird will last and outperform those twice its price. Totally worth the $150. Buy it. Unless you are using this exclusively for vacuuming out cars and tons of carpeted stairs, buy this vacuum. ... show more

  • Best vacuum I've had! Great for pet hair.
I've tried so many "pet" vacuums that just did not work, even with my short-hair dogs. This one actually works. The maneuverability is great, the suction is extremely powerful, and the anti-wrap roller brush is ACTUALLY anti-wrap (accidentally picked up a thread hanging from a curtain and it came right out). It picked up the carpet powder I had sprinkled on my area rug in just a couple of passes with NO dust thrown in the air and the powerful suction with the attachments was perfect for the crevices around the walls. Worked great on my vinyl plank floors, too. ... show more

  • I am Impressed!
Its a vacuum cleaner, I should not be getting this excited but this is the age of Covid and we take what we can get. In this case I got an excellent vacuum. The Shark Navigator ZU62 Zero-M arrived in excellent condition. Compared to my last vacuum this Shark is lightweight and much more maneuverable and it really sucks!!! It works great on bare floors and carpets and easily goes back and forth between the two surfaces. My two room mates are rather hairy and tend to leave gobs of hair throughout the house (Cats). The Shark Zu62 quickly picked up all the hair without blowing it away from the approaching vacuum. The furniture attachment actually pulled the hair out of the furniture instead of just grinding it deeper into the cushions as my old vacuum tended to do. The canister was easy to empty and reattach so I can not find anything to complain about. I would definitely give the Shark Zu62 a triple snap in "Z" formation! ... show more

  • Don't waste your money Don't waste your money
Don't waste youre money!! Honestly the suction is not great, you will need to go over the same spot 3 times for it to pick everything up. I bought my shark this past October, so it is less than a year old and it is very poor quality. The suction is not great, and I'm meticulous about the filters being clean. Ontop of that its supposed to be able to maneuver all around to get into tight spots and it was built terrible. The bottom part has never been stable, and it broke on the inside and then also snapped the outside peice. There is no reparing it or replacing it. You would have to buy the whole bottom part of the vaccum which goes for no less than 100 dollars!! This shark is not easy to move around and is very heavy!! Literally a giant hunk of junk and waste of 200 dollars!! I decided to go buy a Bissell powerforce helix from Walmart for 60 dollars and my carpets have never been cleaner!! It works great on both carpet and hard floors and doesn't shoot dirt everywhere like the shark!! SAVE YOURSELF 200 BUCKS AND GET THE BISSEL FROM WALMART!! You certainly won't regret it like you would regret wasting your money on the shark!!! ... show more

  • I. LOVE. THIS. VACUUM
I bought this vacuum after my Dyson animal died - which I thought was a great vacuum. I really wanted to try the Shark because of the hair cutting feature. I have two medium hair length dogs, but my own long hair is always the problem. For as long as I can remember I have been cutting off my tangled hair from any vacuum cleaner brushes I ever owned. Not anymore!! The Shark is the best vacuum I've ever come across. No longer a hair tangling mess, but the suction is fantastic and what's even better is how easy and fast the wand disconnects with a push of one finger. That is truly the best thought out feature in my opinion. The wand has two sections, the handle comes off in a moment to suck up a quick hairball or use the brush for the couch and the rest of the tube disconnects just as fast and also plops right back in without fiddling. It sounds corny, but I'm in love with this vacuum. Yes, it's a bit heavier than others, but the handle to carry it around is at a great height so it's not strenuous to tote it up or down a few stairs. Can't speak for whole flights as I don't have any. This thing is awesome and well worth the money! ... show more
